Hi everyone, I am new to this site so I have just been ghosting around for awhile. I live in Michigan and have always loved everything Scottish. My great-grandmother was from Scotland so I tried to find out background history about her. Unfortunatley, I never had a chance to know her, or any other people that knew very much about her so I haven't had any luck. I love listening to the music! I hope everyone has a great day! walkman.gif

To get the most from the site, explore the forums and engage in the discussions. Look at that, I sound like an old-timer allready! What a fool I am. wacko.gif
But then, my SCA character is a jester, so what do you expect.

Thanks for the advice, I'm generally a bit backward about joining in, as you can see by the time-elapse since I registered here. rolleyes.gif

I hope to talk to you more in the future. walkman.gif

Glad you've come aboard. It is loads of fun in here and very informative. People from all over sharing their wealth of knowledge. And with your love of the country and ways I am sure you have loads of knowledge to share. For the most part we are all nice lol . Very few bites since I have been here and they healed well. You should watch out for Raven though... he doesn't like anyone plucking his feathers for some reason wink.gif . Have fun and hopefully we'll see you in chat.

Hi Barb! Nice to have you here. Hope you get around to the different forums and join right in. Nice to talk in chat too. That is always fun. The people are great and share a lot of interesting things. I, too, love all things Scottish and I have several great-grandmothers who were of Scottish ancestry. I am still researching that part of my family so not sure which generation actually came from there yet. All my aunts and uncles are dead and my mother while still living remembers very little! Sigh.... so that has been no help. Fortunately, cousins have been researching it too. Anyway, enjoy the music and the people here!

When I first started on this network I really didn't understand what I was doing or how to start things. I still haven't learned how to put pictures here but with time I'll get that too. I figure keep playing until you get it. If not fake it!

Happy Christmas and Hello all
