Ok, we are going to sweeten the pot with our "Song of the Year" voting.

First, I am here to anounce that we are going to extend the voting date until St. Patrick's day - yes, I know that is a long way off; but since we were delayed in getting the actual word about this contest out, it only seems fair.

Second, anyone that votes has the chance to win Charlie Zahm's Among the Heather CD. This is a beautiful album and all it takes is a vote. You don't even have to post a message, so exercise your democratic right! Vote Now!!!

This is awesome! More votes!

107 as of February 4th at 11:23am PST. I just voted even though I was not familiar will all the songs. Heres to hoping I win the Charlie Zahm CD!!

I first heard him a few months ago when he was a featured artist on Highlander Radio. Unfortunately he is on the east coast, so the odds of seeing him in concert are slim. I hope to be able to get a couple of his CDs soon.

I think it is a good turn out, even though alot of people probably are not as familiar with the songs as some.

Well, we have until 3/17/06 to choose the winner! biggrin.gif

We will definitely consider Mothergrove for 2006. I believe that we had just received Mothergrove's CDs around the time we put this list together. It really represents musicians that have been playing on Highlander Radio throughout 2005.
