Looks like almost everybody is peeved by traffic, and I can agree with that - although we can't do anything about it. My pet peeve has more to do with my Highlander Radio addiction than anything else. I am a professional photographer (yes, I know we are being replaced with cell phones, these days), and I use a Macintosh computer to process my image files. Currently, my Mac is so old that my operating system will not allow me to use a newer version browser, so therefore I cannot listen to my favorite music and my favorite radio station Highlander Radio.

Fortunately, my pet peeve has a solution, I just need to get an updated computer. Then my work will be easier and my days will be happier.

Thanks Jim. I know that one, and will make the recommendation. Thanks, again.

A very good friend's mom died last week. She has asked me to find a good bagpipe tune for her funeral, aside from Amazing Grace. While I have listened to Highlander Radio for some time, I have not kept up with appropriate funeral music. Can you help out a fellow Scot?

Patch,

Good to hear from you, and see a good effort to use the resource.

Sadly, I do not have anything to add the your search. However, I have a question you might be able to help me with. A very good friend's mom died last week. She has asked me to find a good bagpipe tune for her funeral, aside from Amazing Grace. Can you help out a fellow Scot and a City of Dallas employee?

Sophisticated, modern rendition of wonderful Gaelic lyrics. Goes straight to the soul of traditional music, with a current flavor. Got me the first time I heard it. Mary Jane is going to be one of my favorites for a very long time.

Did I miss another drawing? Oh well, I guess I'll just listen to this great music.

Happy St. Paddy's Day from Texas! Even with the Leprechauns, I enjoy the programming here more than anything I can find in broadcast. Work through the problems and let's keep this site up. Be sure to drop by the Fund Raiser, and drop a few coins for St. Paddy's Day.

I wish there was more of this. Simply stunning vocals, and the instruments are wonderful.

I am Troy Ogilvie, from North Texas, and new to the forum. Scotland is the home of my ancestors, and is the origin of what I hold dear. Bagpipes are a special interest for me. I have attended the Texas Scottish Festival and Highland Games for many years, where some of the world's best pipers play. My particular favorite is Aaron Shaw of the Wicked Tinkers. What a wonderful piper he is.

Anyway, I am glad to have found this site, and will be an active participant.
