BEAUTY!!

That's awesome Gab. Where'd you find that? The part about driving with the window down is exactly what I do. If it's snowing, but not fridgid, I have to have the fresh air.

Well, our cold snap should be breaking up around monday, and we'll be getting around -8 instead of -33. I dare say that is the day I'll have the window down. It should feel down right tropical after this garbage.

Glad you liked it - my brother sent it to me today via email. He'd got it from Canadian friends recently.

You want snow? Come shovel my driveway & then see if you still want it.

Indeed I still do! You see, when it snows that much here everything shuts down and I wouldn't have go anywhere. Also, I live in an apartmnent complex, so they get to do the shoveling. thumbs_up.gif

snowed that badly (in FIFE!!) that I was stuck on my way to college and took the next bus back. It thawed away during the day but I heard from a friends that my tutor didn't come either so I had a free day anyway.

Hi all... it has been very cold for the past 5 days here in northern Canada... -48C at night, and warming up to -40C C during the day... There is an end in sight... we are supposed to warm up to -32 C or so tomorrow... Very hard on vehicles in this weather... thus, I walk..easier on me than a vehicle made in the south somewhere or in Japan...

The days are getting a bit longer.... but this time of year, is very tough on a person... dreams of sun, sea and sand ....

We are expecting another cold snap down here. Temperatures may fall slightly below 100 F today. Sunshine expected until April at least.

Leo, I'm paying that cat to set his sights on you. It's in the single digits up here again and my feet are freezing. Better watch your back once your little kitty receives his package of 'cat toys' from an anonomous source. And you know, you can't take them back......

Well, it's finally warming up a bit here. We're sitting at -23 (-9.4) right now, and looking at a high of -21 (-5.8). Yes, that's warm. Well, compared to the past week anyway.

Northern Lass, what part of Northern Canada, if you don't mind my asking? We're getting pretty cold weather here, but -50 still only hits with windchill.

Yesterday we had a blizzard. This morning it's raining with high winds. Supposed to change to snow this afternoon. Yesterday it snowed 12 inches at my cabin and is supposed to still be snowing! Have to try to get there tomorrow so we can play in it!

-50 below? Way too cold for me! ::yuck

We got about 2-3 inches of snow last night ( Ithink. It is may seem deeper because of the layer of ice underneath the snow). Temperatures are 7 deg F here with windchills of -7 deg F.
