I'd actually like to know how he rides that motorcycle with his kilt. Or at least, how he keeps the kilt where it belongs and keep other things from flapping in the breeze!

Hey that's a good idea. We should collect a bunch of kilt wearing members pictures and have Macfive set up a voting contest. He can use that as an excuse to give away some of his huge collection of CD's!
I think a kilt photo contest is a lovely idea! I'll PM Macfive about it.
Now there's a bit of sad news -- the gentleman whose site I linked to does not actually bike in the kilt, for reasons of safety -- you really do need more protection than a kilt would give you. However, I think he is doing a great public service to the imagination just posing next to the bike in a black leather jacket and kilt.
The two young men look wonderful in their kilts, zeryx. Very manly.
I thought about you all today whilst out in town - and just HAD to snap this picture of an unsuspecting passerby unfortunately he moved out of the perfectly framed photo I did have!

Hunk? Gentleman?? Wow, you must have me confused with someone else!
Thanks to Stoirmeil for her wonderful email and the link to this site. I've finally got my head out of the clouds enough for a first post. And yes, I'll be doing a proper intro in that section shortly.
Fantastic music here, and what seems to be an interesting collection of forum members! The only member who I recognize so far is Graham (Tassiecelt) who I know from the Xmarksthescot kilt forum.
Now on to this thread...I'm not sure what I can add. As someone who's fast becoming an "old fart", I can't honestly recall the last time I was referred to as a "hunk". Does my heart good, though, and I thank everyone for their comments.
As Stoirmeil pointed out recently, I do not actually ride my Harley while kilted, although I have made very short trips around the neighbourhood on the bike while wearing my Utilikilt. Certainly good for bringing traffic to a standstill. Sorry, no pics.
I've been wearing kilts on a regualr basis for a little over 3 years now, and currently have 7 of them to choose from. I just ordered #8 last week, a traditional Irish Saffron kilt to honour my Irish roots. Looking forward to receiving that one, and yes, pics will be posted once it arrives.
Zeryx...your son looked great in his kilt!
And for the ladies with the wandering minds, I found this pic online. It's not me, but I thought you'd enjoy seeing it.
