Mduffy I agree!
They ARE my favorite band.
Seen them live 5 times and each show was better than the last. Lots of fun going and great music to listen to! They have a tremendous following.
Lot of variety in their music and they are a bunch of great guys.
Seeing them again this summer in Lowell, MA!

I and my family also love Great Big Sea, especially the earlier stuff(Up, Play, Turn, etc...), saw them twice, my kids have seen them more times, really great show they put on!

Took my 10 yeaer old to see them last September - it was her first concert and it was a big hit! Now the 7 year old is mad that she hasn't seen them yet. Hoping they come around again next year.

Good news and bad news.
The Bad news that unfortunatley thay are taking quite a bit of time off from touring, HOWEVER, the Good news is that they are taking time off touring to make the 20th anniversary album!!! (and some solo projects)

They are referring to the album and the tour as:
"GBSXX and the World Domination 20th Anniversary Tour"!!!

Should be quite a year of touring when they are done and as they said the album they are putting together is going to be something really special!
