I've held off mentioning Trio Nocturna here due to the bad reviews I've seen all over the place. Honestly, I don't understand them. I have Songs of the Celtic Night, and I really like it It's definately Celtic-inspired, and yet different from anything else in my library. Doesn't really carry the same sad feel as a lot of Caltic music does, but it's dark, mysterious. It flows, almost as if a dream.
Trio Nocturna does not appear to still be recording from what I can tell. Looks like they disbanded in 1997, but Songs of the Celtic Night is still avaliable via CD Baby.
