Hi Cosmict! Actually I have Twinflame's email and I wrote to Wen this week and told him I had not received the first CD I ordered, Peaceful Warriors, yet. I ordered it on June 8. Maybe I am being too impatient. rolleyes.gif I just ordered the other two CDs this week so I am being REAL impatient! biggrin.gif I just love their music so much and I am now their biggest fan! Thank you for your offer. Since I wrote Wen myself and if I don't get Peaceful Warriors in the next week or two, I will be bugging you via PM, okay? Many thanks again! I really appreciate your willingness to help! thumbs_up.gif

Phew! I just got on my computer and missed the song Columbine! sad.gif

Being that I am a new member I am certain that I will be adding to my list of favorites but, at the present time I have added these to my list..
Seven Nations
Twelve/Our Day Will Come
Loreena McKennitt
Bonny Portmore
Glengarry Bhoys
Deep Inside
Twinflame
Safe and Warm/Arrows
I must add that since listening to this wonderful station I have awakened my interest once again in the bagpipes..The other eve I was sitting here writing some emails when Danny Boy and Amazing Grace played and well, I went numb with chills..How spectacular and Ni Ya We (thank you) for whomever requested those for now I know what to request off the playlist when I wish to hear those songs ~smile~

QUOTE (greenldydragon @ 11-Jul-2004, 01:24 PM)
I see that The trial of Lancelot is a repeating occurence..

But of course. Lancelot has been on the most requested lists and favorites lists ever since I started listening back in January. It was one of the draws of CR.

There is a fair representation on SCA members, current and past in the audience. I do not know if the playing of Heather's songs has attracted more of us SCA folk or whether us SCA folk have made her songs more popularity through requests. It is sort of a chicken/egg thing. king.gif

Woohoo! I just received my 3 Twinflame CDs! I am so very excited. Been listening to them all day. All three Cds are wonderful but if I had to pic my faves, these would be them:

Sail On
Peaceful Warriors
How Long
Universal Salutation of Light
Get Together (loved this song from the 70's)
Om Mani Padme Hum

Safe and Warm
In the River
Arrows
Keepers of the Flame
Surrender

Six Billion Gods
Free the Past
Columbine
Ancient of Days

Oh I am still listening to them over and over and my favorites will increase, I am sure! All three CD's are wonderful!

I think I may be very obnoxious about them on this site! rolleyes.gif

I have been listening to Celtic music for a few years now and I have become a fan of bands that include the fiddle and pipes.

Personal favorites:

The Glengarry Bhoys
Great Big Sea
Hadrians Wall

The band that brought me to Celtic music was a band out of western New York called Kilbrannan. This four piece band plus a piper mixed in has creative influences from Ireland and Scotland. They play original music plus contemporary arrangements of some great traditional songs.

Check them out at www.kilbrannan.com

Hmm... as for me, I like follow songs:

Clannad - I Will Find You
Sarah McLachlan - Unchained Melody
Reeltime - Siuil A Ruin
Enya - all songs
Maire Brennan - The days of the dancing
Capercaillie - Am Buachaille Ban
Capercaillie - Coisich a Ruin walkman.gif

Ou, I like this song very much! And I like this version, too. It's Russian folk group named Clann Lir, they sing irish, welsh and scottish songs and play music, too. You can listen, if you want.

And so on... Friends, please, sorry for my English, if it will be not correct. I study English, but I am not sure in my knowledges. unsure.gif
