Sublig! It is really bugging me too about that show and has been ever since I discovered that song on there. I only saw it a couple of times because it always ran the same time hubby wanted to watch something, so I never got to see it! dry.gif He is a real TV hog! biggrin.gif Anyway, hopefully somebody will know as there are enough statesiders on this site who could tell us.

It was that song that got me into LM music and Celtic music. Then my hubby brought home the Riverdance video and I have been hooked ever since! I have several Celtic music CDs and my list is ever growing because of this site! wink.gif

Wishing you a very Merry Christmas! newyear.gif

Well I found it, after an hour or so of looking. The show was called "Legacy" and apparently it was aired from 98-99. So much for early 90's. rolleyes.gif

This was also where I first heard the Mummer's Dance. Sometimes I think I watched the show just for the theme song. biggrin.gif After hearing it once, I was hooked!!

I got her single CD for the Mummer's Dance. It also has the Mystic's Dream on it which I heard played once on the show "Roar" which was another "Highland" show that I liked. thumbs_up.gif

if it had "The Mummer's Dance" in it, then that rules out early 90's right there =) The Book of Secrets is © 1997. I must admit that I never heard of that series myself, but then I am not much of one for watching TV and I'm also not into the equine scene either. Pretty farms to pass on my way to my aunt's house though smile.gif I also need to drive the new Paris pike from Lexington, I hear it's quite amazing the way they redid it. I'll see if I can find a link to the newspaper article on it and post it here, Perhaps start a new thread with it.

Sulbig! You did it! That is the name of it! Good for you! I really loved it the two times I saw it cause I love westerns. I live in Arizona so it is a big thing out here. Thank you for clearing our minds! Wish they would show reruns of it. Never seen Roar.

May I suggest you get her other music as well .... maybe a late Christmas gift to yourself! wink.gif smile.gif

Loreena's voice ! Great ! I only have an EP (mini CD) with five Christmas songs ! But great songs to listen during the Festive Season. This small album is "A winter garden, five songs for the season" ! One ot the best Christmas albums I have ever listened to ! angel.gif

Lionel! We seem to like some of the same musical artists! I love those two Loreena McKinnett's Christmas CDs too. I listened to both of them extensively this year. I have all of her other CDs too. The Mummer's Dance is still my very favorite though. smile.gif

my favourite CD is the live (in Paris and Toronto) compilation.. I love the "Highwayman" , "Dante's Prayer" and "Old Ways". Definitly my favourite songs of hers and all on the same compilation.

Lionel there is "To Drive the Cold Winter Away" and the other is "Five Songs For The Season." Both are wonderful, of course.

She actually brought out more than that, but I think the Live CD is the best start, it is a bit different from her studio CD's and her voice is at it's best!
