Hope your father in law is fine Robert luckily nothing dramatic came out of this little accident. My mother's brother was the same he would just black out like that anywhere, anytime until the last episode when he crashed his car and end-up in hospital. Since then the doctor took his license away.

Good Evening everyone. It was a beautiful day here today. No wind it was great.

gwenlee Hi, I didn’t get one trick- or- treater. The police station didn’t get one report of anything. Now that’s strange. It was so quiet and dark it was spooky. I am glad you can relate to the snow and cold. I feel for all the children that go through all that being so cold ya cry. I feel for the parents to taking all that time to make the costumes-only to have them covered up. How is your daughter doing?

Celtic Rose, I hope things slow down for you. It sounds like you had a great time. I bet the dog looked so cute. Would love to see some of your pictures. When and if you have a chance to post them.

Mike “aka unibomber” lol! I bet you made a great blues brother. I bet your nephews, nieces and the dog were cute.

Robert I guess you had a day. I am so glad your father-in-law is alright. I know that giving up driving was really hard for my father to do. Glad all came out ok for him.

Hi Lady Of Avalon I hope your having a great weekend.

Have a good weekend everyone!

Hi Rindy-Sarah is doing better. She has her good days and her bad days. Thank you for asking.

We didn't have any trick or treaters at our house. It has been that way for us for the last few years.

We went to Blueridge, GA today. That is where my family is from, well one of the towns in those hills. We spent to day just goofing off. The leaves are changing and there is crisp in the air. I love the fall.

Robert I am glad your father is okay.

Well I have to go. Everyone have good night.

Wow, it has been ages since I have been here! I am alive and relatively well.
Any one catch the season premiere of the Amazing Race? Their first stop was Ireland. They were in Cleggan and Connemarra.

JP, good to hear from you! Glad you are still alive and kicking!

Didn't see the Amazing Race and I'm sorry I missed it.

Take care, my friend! Got a bust week coming u. Good thing is that it includes a concert by Jim Malcolm! Doesn't get any better than that!

Hello everyone...Just wanted to thank all of you for being so welcoming to newcomers.. It's been a long day and I have a busy week ahead of me. I have many doctor appointments and tests this week. Getting so very tired of the long drive back and forth to St. Louis. Over 100 miles each way....You see on Oct. 1st I was told that I have a tumor growing on my 8th nerve by my brain stem...Don't think that just made for a lovely day... The specialist said it's benign.. Thank you, God. I had 2 options..surgery or radiation treatments. I opted for radiation...You don't want to know what the side affects from the surgery were... 3 treatments of 2 hours each,,I should start in2 or 3 weeks. This tumor is growing on my hearing, balance and facial nerves. I walk sometimes like I've been on a 3 day bender...or just gotten off ship... I try to find things to make me laugh about this.. Some days it's easier than others. lookaround.gif Again thanks...

Thank God it's benign, leenieww! But even then you have some hard times ahead and I keep my fingers crossed for a successful therapy. smile.gif

Thanks Gabby
Like I said I have to find ways to laugh...since it's growing where it's growing, my balance is off and I've lost a lot of hearing in that ear. Those will never improve. I just tell my friends to talk loud and when I walk or dance....STAND BACK OR HOLD ON! laugh.gif Can't wait to get this over with.

leenieww I hate to hear that you are not well. I will keep you in my thoughts and prayers.

I have the night off so I am relaxing.

The kids are at bible study. I have miss going, but I have to pick up my older daughter from work. She is restricted from driving for at least 6 months. She has to be seizure free for that length of time.
The weather has turned cold all of a sudden. Oh well, it is November.

Can you believe Thanksgiving is almost here? I am going to have my brother and his family over along with a couple of friends.

Have a good evening.

Thanks Gwenlee for your thoughts and prayers.
Traveled yet again to St. Louis today . They made the mask I will wear during the treatments and I had to do the MRI & CAT Scan again so the team could calibrate the machine so it shoots the radiation in the right spot. Really getting to know the St. Louis University Hospital well. I want all of this to be finished by the end of December. My best friend and I both have birthdays the first of Jan. We want to run off for a long weekend and go see several of our band friends perform. In March, I'm going to Scotland with one of those bands..Can't wait! Been planning this trip for over a year. This darn tumor is not going to stop me!

Have fun on your Scotland trip and I'll praying hopeing that you are not in poor health for the trip. Wish I could go too especially with a band. That would be a blast.

Father is law is okay. Aside from his blacking out which caused the whole thing his little crash didn't even phase him.

Our female doxy had her puppy. Male. We are trying to decide what to name him now. Otto Fudgebottom has been the most original so far. can't get the wife to go with Bailey or Guinness even though he is a Black and Tan

Finshed of my classes tonight so now its jsut the writing of the research papers left to do. One 10 pager on what is wrong with my ministry or organization and one 10 pager on how to fix it. Hard part ewill be typing both papers with one finger while holding the grandaughter with the other. Then its getting my 40 page masters thesis done and I graduate I believe next May. Hoping to travel to New Orleans for the ceremony. Getting excited!!

Hoping and praying I can somehow get to Duluth (2 hours west) tomorrow night for a Enter the Haggis concert.
