Writing all types of works including but not limited to prose fiction, screenplays, and poetry. I am also passionate about writing, listening to, playing, and recording all types of music. I have an acoustic guitar and am currently in the process of building a modest home studio combining both analog and digital tools.
I am also passionate on discussing film, literature, music, good TV, and various facets of geek culture. I'm an avid Star Wars fan and also into various comedies, fantasy, historic, and adventure/action movies. I used to have many more comic books back in the day, but I still love reading them--even though we now refer to them as "graphic novels".

working late tonight out of the good will of my heart...never done this before, but it's currently 1:50am Eastern time after being here all day since 7am yesterday morning. i miss my bed. i forgot how much of a strain third shift can be with sleep, let alone without. having fun playing magic though!

This weekend has been semi-productive with regard to my story work...if I hadn't had to re-format my hard drive to rid of some viruses, I would've got more done but those sort of things happen! Today, worked some more on the story and have decided to pick up a to-do-item that I've been trying to get off the ground for a year or so. That is, I'm getting prepared to compile all of my written works (poems, short stories, ideas/brainstorms, etc.) and all of my drawing/painting works onto disc, so that I may back them up and have an easier method of viewing them. I was thinking this while backing up some of my data before my hard drive format yesterday, and it sounds like something I've been putting off for far too long!
In other news, all is well on the home front! Just looking to tomorrow for I return to work after another short three days off.

i have made some good progress with my story/novel that i started roughly a week and a half ago. things are really starting to turn to flesh, a new sense of reality that i quite enjoy recording in black and white.
life itself has been really good...i feel closer to God than ever and all seems well on the work front.
perhaps i am too hard on myself at times. i probably read into a lot of things people say...i'm to the point now that i really don't mind what others say. talk is cheap. words are eternal.

recently started writing a lot more vigorously than ever before! is vigorous proper for that? i don't know, who cares. anyways, the main one i'm working on at the moment is about a medieval Druid-esque character who has lost his memory due to an encounter with an evil sorcerer. it's gonna be good! also working on getting "the mirror in the corner" reworked...was once considering changing it to "the ring in the glass" but i figured it might sound like a generic knock-off of you know what.
so i've got that going on...also started a kind of weird movie script thingamajig that may or may not blossom into something good. it's too new to tell and while it was at the time just a venting piece, a spilling out of all sorts of stuff, it's probably weaker than i initially intended.
so, back to work for now...
