I don't know which books you've read so far, so please forgive me if some of these are repeats. I started by reading "Drawing Down The Moon" by Margot Adler. It's a very good book that explains many different Paths, not just Wicca, within the Pagan community. I've seen it recommended by so many people!
Scott Cunningham is a good author -- easy to read, clear explanations, honest and open-minded. I've read several of his books, but my favorites are "Wicca- A Guide for the Solitary Practitioner" and "The Encyclopedia of Magical Herbs". You should also read Ann Moura's "Green Witchcraft" series. It's different in that she doesn't necessarily believe in the religious aspects of practising the Craft. Phyllis Curott wrote a book ( "Book of Shadows" ) that was very interesting, too, and gave a modern woman's account of her journey in becoming Wiccan over the course of a year. For a lighter read, pure enjoyment mixed with practical information, try Patricia Tedesco's "Gardening With the Goddess". That was fun, and much lighter in tone. It's the only book of hers that I've read just yet. Everyone will mention "The Mists of Avalon" series--that's a very good set, too, though a lot is pure fiction so read it with a grain of salt, but definitely read it!

but I know there are many more books that you should know about. I found a lot of them by doing searches on Amazon, and on our local library catalog site. You'd be surprised! Just don't limit your search to phrases including Wicca, or Pagan, or such. Try Goddess, or Celtic Mythology, even Women's Journeys. I found a lot of new authors by following the recommended alternatives listed underneath the books I'd chosen on Amazon, too.I'm sure that others here will be able to recommend more good books for you. There used to be a thread, a while back (late last year??) that was purely book recommendations. You may want to check through the back pages of this section.
