We are pleased to announce that we have brought back email services on Celtic Radio. In the past we use to offer a free complimentary email address to all members, but due to the costs involved we had to shut that part of our service down.

Starting today all Founder Club members whether enhanced, premium, monthly or yearly can choose a cool Celtic email address for any one of these domains:

• CelticMusicRadio.com

Visit the Email section of the Dashboard to select your new email address and obtain all of the necessary information to setup in your email client or use the included web-based email system. Enjoy!

Glad you like it and glad we could bring it back. We will be working on the web mail interface which is a temporary solution for now - but the email dash board gives you all the information you need to setup an email client like outlook or thunderbird.

My apologies we have been on an extended leave of absence so just getting back into the swing of things.

I checked today and was having all sorts of issues, then realized I needed to put the - so the full email address and then it worked.

We occasionally will hard restart our highspeed line so may have been at that time. Hope it is working now give it a try.

That's good to hear, I am glad you like the email system we have setup. Although need to look into setting up some spam filters on the server. We might have to upgrade the email server I am sure by now there are updates will have to look in 1st of the year.

Just an update on our email services. We will be introducing a real SSL certificate for our mail server soon. If you have received any warning messages or need to over-ride the security when setting up the email this will fix that issue. Will post a message here once the SSL certificate is installed.

For the web mail there will not be any difference in access email through the website - this is more if you setup the email through outlook, thunderbird, apple, android, etc.

A secure certificate "PositiveSSL" is now installed on our Celtic Radio email server. This will make the email server more secure and also identify CelticRadio.net as the owner of the Certificate.


There is no additional configuring required if you are using our web-based email. For Outlook, Thunderbird, iPhone, Android you may need to delete the email account and re-setup. It definitely was easier to configure with the SSL. See your email settings in the dashboard if you wish to use a third party email app.

You may also have to trust this certificate, but our name is clearly on the Certificate and is provided by COMODO which is now owned by Sectigo Certification Authority.

We've started implementing some better spam filters recently that have cut way down spam emails. If you keep getting any emails that you didn't sign up for, just let us know and we can add their address to our email server.
