Mary, Queen of Scots is one of my favorite historical figures. Here is a link to her history.

I like this link because it shows the many places in Scotland she stayed in her life, including her place of birth...as well as the history of course.

A really good book to read further about Mary is one written by Antonia Fraser.

CelticRose, My daughter and I have read the book "The Other Queen by Philippa Gregory" now we are wondering if they every made a movie about her. Do you or anyone happen to know?

There was indeed a movie made about Mary, Queen of Scots. Although old. I have the DVD, but does not say when the film was made. I would assume it was produced in the 60s. The movie is titled as such...Mary Queen of Scots...with Vanessa Redgrave and Glenda Jackson. The movie back in its day earned 5 academy award nominations.
