There is really no way for us to track how many CDs we are responsible for making a sale on, because we do not sell CDs on our site. So let's talk about what CDs you have purchased because you heard them on Highlander Radio!
I must say I have bought way to many to count because of Highlander Radio. Where I live is very remote and there is no way I would of been able to hear or purchase such wonderful music. I think the variety of different music has really been a pleasure. I am sure to purchase more.. I must say thank you Highlander Radio.

Lemmie see what kind of list I come up with. I will list any CD here that I would not have aquired had it not been for CRN, even if it wasn't directly because of CRN. Please don't let the length of my list kill the thread. Here's a legend:
* -- purchased directly because I heard of it on CRN + -- Gift or similar
Emerald Rose -- Bending Tradition * Heather Dale -- Trial of Lancelot * Heather Dale -- May Queen * Heather Dale -- Call the Names * Heather Dale -- This Endris Night Heather Dale -- Road to Santiago Gary Stadler -- Fairy Heartmagic * Celtic Twilight Vol 4 * Wolfstone -- The Half Tail * Twinflame -- In the River * Twinflame -- Peaceful Warriors * Twinflame -- Journey of Souls * Smoky Finish -- Clear This Planet... Immediately * Siúcra -- Here Among Strangers * Silly Wizard -- Live Wizardry * Schooner Fare -- Alive * Schooner Fare -- Day of the Clipper * The Ennis Sisters -- 3 * The Ennis Sisters -- Christmas on Ennis Road Rise -- Uncertain Wonders * Rise -- Posing as Human + Steve McDonald -- Sons of Somerled * Castles of Gold * Natalie MacMaster -- No Boundaries * Noel Battle & David Hynes -- A Blow for Peace + Moya Brennan -- Two Horizons * The Bringers -- It's About Time * Bríd Ní Mhaoíleoin -- Ar Mhúin Na Muice * Clannad -- Banba * Amadan -- Sons of Liberty * Lydia McCauley -- Foreignlander * Connie Dover -- Border of Heaven * Gaelic Storm -- Special Reserve * Celtic Circle * Nightwish -- Angels Fall First Nightwish -- Century Child Nightwish -- Wishmaster Off Kilter -- Off Kilter+ Andrea Dale -- A Step Out of Time Urban Tapestry -- Myths & Urban Legends
Believe me, this is far from an exaustive list of my Celtic library, and four of these CDs are not classified as Celtic in my library. I may have missed something, but don't think I did. You'll not find some of the above in the playlist. I don't doubt there's probably something on that list MacFive has never heard of, but had I not been listening to CRN, I'd never have found it.
Aaediwen this is quite a list! But I will confess as well...the last ummm...5 cd's I've bought are all from artists I found on CR....plus I won one in the monthly contest!! So...I'll aspire to have a collection like you one day...just a matter of time oh and $$$

I later thought of 2 more that should be on the list. Enter the Haggis -- Casualties of Retail is one, can't remember what the other CD was. If I were really liberal with the list, I might add a few more. And if I were trying to take things literally and only list CDs I bought directly and solely because of CRN, it'd be a much shorter list
Most of the CD's I have bought have been because of Highlander Radio.

May those who love us love us. And those that don't love us, May God turn their hearts. And if He doesn't turn their hearts, May he turn their ankles, So we'll know them by their limping
May you live as long as you want, And never want as long as you live.
I've got to add to my Irish and Celtic Collection, and what better place to get familiar with the great artists, than here on Celitc Radio?

WE CAN'T CHANGE WHAT WE HAVE DONE.... BUT ONLY TAKE A LESSON FROM EACH EXPERIENCE AND MAKE THE MOST OF EACH MINUTE THAT WE HAVE LEFT AND TELL OURELVES THAT IT IS OK TO LIVE, LAUGH AND CRY..... PAST, PRESENT AND FUTURE ALL WORK TOGETHER TO GIVE US WHAT WE CAN AND SHOULD EXPERIENCE AND WE NEED TO CHERISH ALL OF THE TIME THAT WE SPEND WITH OURSELVES AND OTHERS MAKING THE MOST OF THE SPECIAL MEMORIES THAT ARE OURS.. AND THE ONES THAT WE HAVE YET TO CREATE WITH THE PEOPLE THAT WE HAVEN'T MET!!!!![/SIZE]
I've just purchased Ceann - Almost Irish, and both Amadan CDs (I even traveled 5 hours this last weekend to go see them play at the Portland Highland Games...and if it weren't for CR, I'd have never likely heard of them at all!).
There's a number more on my Favorites list that I'll be picking up in the coming months, including Runrig, Highlander, Steven McDonald, Twinflame and my new fav: St. James' Gate.
I'm truly thankful to Celtic Radio for introducing me to such a wonderful resource of music - one that I feel I have just tapped into!
I've really enjoyed listening to CR! Our girls like a lot of the music as well, and have introduced it to many of their friends. It's been received quite well, as a matter of fact
My Cd collection has really grown, and I've more on my list yet to buy, but here are the ones I have so far, thanks to CelticRadio! :
Loreena McKennitt: The Visit and The Book of Secrets John Doan: Wayfarer, Eire, and (Celtic Twilight 4)Celtic Planet Llewellyn: Celtic Legend Celtic Journey cd Pipin Hot cd Afro Celt Sound System: Vol. 2 Release Riverdance (!) The Chieftains: The Celtic Harp Lisa Lynne: Daughters of the Celtic Moon Gary Stadler: Fairy of the Woods (and most recently) Secret Garden: Earthsongs
I've also won Marita Brake's cd The Celtic Rose from CR during one of the contests -- Thank you!!
My wish list grows every day.....

Almost all the celtic CD's I have are because of CR. And the number is well over 100. Where better to listen to music befor you buy? I love CR, even getting my son hooked.
