You know who will answer that phone? A Secret Service Aide, that's who. What a specious ruse they pose to the American people.

Here is my view of it. Mind you I am not published, nor have I tried to be, so take it for what it's worth.

Every publisher started somewhere. This seems to be what you have stumbled upon. You may gain their acceptance where a larger publisher wouldn't touch it, through no fault of yours!. There are a lot of factors in choosing an author. It's a leg up in the world of being an author. They may be a hobbyist trying to go pro. For the price of a State license and a bond, you too can be a publisher!

They DO NOT have the reach and resources of a larger publisher, so all that they can promise you is their dedication. You have no guarantee of their competency, so leave yourself a door open in the contract. Contacts is what its all about in publishing. Do they have the resources to promote you book to profitability? Since you may have to fund the first run of the book, it is important.

Not trying to be a wet blanket, just calling it like I see it.

Congratulations and Best Wishes,
Mike

You makes your choices, you takes your chances.

Thou shalt have no other gods before me. - Exodus 20:3

I have never understood why people would place that much importance on a game. That is all it is, a game.

In the larger scheme of things it means nothing. It is something that occupies your time. You only have so many ticks of the clock from the moment that you're conceived and you choose to spend it focused on somethng that means nothing when it is all said and done. That was time that you could have spent with your family or helping your church. You could have been teaching someone to read or learning something that would expand your world.

And then there is the rioting at sporting events. Dare I even approach this one?
A public flogging for the one that started the riot then all of those that participated it the riot.

Having been a police officer and a frequenter of public houses I must agree with birddog20002001.

Finally someone has got the ratio correct!

While desiring to get to the point, yet not wishing to offend, the question is how do you pronounce "Celtic." I choose to pronounce it correctly and yet no one seems to be able to offer a definitive answer.

I pronounce it with a hard 'K' sound and have wondered why the Boston basketball team doesn't. I don't care why they do that actually, because I don't care about professional athletics.

I don't like this being left up to a majority vote for popular pronunciation, but time may have lost the answer for those purist seeking a definitive answer.
