| Obama officially announced his bid for re-election today. Both sides speculated that he is likely to spend over one billion dollars in his bid to gain a second term. We are not likely to know for certain till the election is over. The Tea Party is planning to raise copious amounts of money to secure the house and senate with a veto proof majority.
