Hey that sounds like a great, road trip to me. And I can stop on my way thru to Texas, and help you fill sandbags. I have an MSB degree ( Master of Sand Bag ) from the Marine Corps. biggrin.gif

You get all the help you need, but after everyone leaves you realize that they. Filled the bags full, now you have to dump half the sand out of each bag by yourself.

I wish I could get my wife, to cook a turkey this week.

"If a man has found nothing he's willing to die for, he is not ready to live"

DISCIPLINE MUST BE A HABIT SO INGRAINED THAT IT IS STRONGER THAN THE EXCITEMENT OF BATTLE OR THE FEAR OF DEATH.
General George S. Patton

Laws that forbid the carrying of firearms, disarm only those who are neither inclined nor determined to commit crimes. Such laws make things worse for the assulted, and better for the assailants. They serve rather to encourge, than to prevent homicides. For an unarmed man may be attacked with greater confidence than an armed man.

Granted, Antonio turkeys are good for the memory...lol...
but once you had your meal i hope you won't think getting away without doing all the cleanup in the kitchen.

I wish I had another two weeks vacation to get over the last ones i just came back from.

Granted but you are gone from work for so long that you can't find your desk for the paperwork piled on it.

I wish I could both spend time with my family AND sleep all weekend AND get my house clean and laundry done. (greedy arn't I?)

Granted, you're now spending all of you time at home. Even better all the inlaws have showed up and are staying with you for the next month since you have so much time at home.

I wish I had a new cell phone to use in case of emergencies.

Won't corrupt that wish--I'm sure we all wish her the best.

I wish I could take all these silly tests for my TN teaching license before the end of the year--not once every two months, so that I can't finish until March. If only some of them were given in the afternoon, instead of all being scheduled at the same times.

Granted but you get stuck in your least favorite time.

I wish I could pause my life, sleep for a week or so, then rewind, erase all the family tragedies of the last few years and start over.

Your wish is granted! you sleep for a week then rewind and erase all the tragedies. But now your life has changed completely, and nobody knows you now.

I wish I could take a vacation now, and go visit my youngest Son back east for a week.

Granted but you will need a new job when you get back because your boss fired you for taking the week off.

I wish I had a job I enjoyed doing that paid enough to make the mortgage and living expenses. for me and my critters

As you wish, you have a great new job you love it and there's plenty of money. But you had to move, and you don't speak Swahili and the heats unbearable. But the mortgage payments almost nothing and you have even more critters.

I wish I knew if the new owner of the company, is going to make any radical changes here.

Changes are good, and raises for all of the employees. except you have to work 80 hours a week and all holidays to get them!!
(Ok,,,the only way that I could think of to corrupt that !)

I wish that the government would spend less on traveling into outer space and spend more on the people on earth!!!

Your wish is granted! you move your family to Ireland, but it's not so happily ever after. The fairy folk have great sport with you all the time, because your ancestors took their pot of gold.

I wish I could take a nice long vacation, just driving and seeing the sights.
