I have witnessed some great curings in my life time of some folks that were doomed according to the medical profession...

These survivors had the will to defeat that which was making them ill. In my opinion the mind plays a greater role in the body healing it's self then most give credit.

A total look at one's diet, mind set, surroundings and over all belief in life can do more then any 100 practioners of the medical profession can accomplish.

I believe this with all my heart and soul... I have seen the results!

In the end it's always us who control as long as we're still having a clear mind. There is the saying that will can move mountains and this is very true. I have experienced it myself more than once. Without our own will to be healed and to heal ourselves no medical treatment would work in the long run.

I also think we have much more respeonibility for our own life and the lives of others than most realise. This is what requires a strong, open and clear mind and will.

Hello,
I believe if they"medical & pharmaceutical companies" can get ahold of you they will control you. We must take care of ourselves. Health care is such a joke in the U.S. no none can afford to be sick. I am not meaning to offend anyone in this line of work.

Mind is everything....nice thread Shadows.

I was born with 4 major birth defects and was given but 2 years to live, but that was 51 years ago and I am still alive. Remember that on the license a Doctor is licensed only to "PRACTICE" medicine, they practice because they do not ahve anything right yet.

I'm with you. There are days I feel so alone and wonder why I bother but I'm a born fighter. I could never climb a mountain, go to college or have children and much else. But I have climbed many mountains and graduated from the community college and gone two years to BYU. Someday maybe I'll graduate with a four year degree. I am mother of five children. Our eldest just got married this last may and our youngest is 8. I wasn't expected to live past childhood or to ever be able to accomplish much in life. Yet with cp, ld, asthma, multiple allergies, and all I have defied doctors and teachers and other so called professionals all my life and still do. Medicines help some with the rhumatoid arthiritis but there is no cure. My doctors for many years have told me I write my own medical book because there is so much with me they can't figure out and so much their books and all their knowledge says is impossible. The best medicine today is the medicine that has been always. The best medicine is a loving and caring family that encourage, help and support you despite what everyone else says and faith in the Lord. With the Lord, a strong fighting spirit and a loving family and a few special friends anything is possible.
I may not ever know in this life what it is to be able to run and play like other children. I may never be able to keep up with you and may never be accepted here. You may look at me and tell me I can't. I may be slow by your standards. But by the Lord's standards I am special. I can learn and I can teach. I climb mountains everyday. You would be suprised at what can be accomplished with a little encouragement, love, and faith. The greatest medicine is hope and faith, love, and to never give up.

Brandon Bays wrote a fabulous book called "The Journey" which touches on techniques one can use to alter the physical body and enable healing. If you start with her, you can go on and get good results, IMO. biggrin.gif
