I just think today people are loosing touch because they just don't take the time.LOA
My Lady, you are absolutely right, sometimes we just don't make the time and we fill it with other things.
Just got off the phone with my mom and am going over this weekend.
She just told me she is going back to Chile on April 7th to visit family. I have been telling her to go for 2 years. I am glad for her. She is 82 and like she said the family still in Chile is getting on in age and pretty soon she won't know any of the newer generations.
Thank you My Lady of Avalon, Rindy and Camac for reminding me to make time and stop and smell the dirt.

I just came back from work a little while ago and came to look up my favorite site while waiting for supper to be ready and wrote a little note to our friend Camac who sounded a bit under the weather. I hope my note put a smile on his handsome face and that after all all is not as gloomy as it seems.
As for you my dear Ulster, I see that you've been a busy lad today.... been posting quite a lot and I am glad that at least today I did some good.
It's " le week-end " at last and intend to r.e.l.a.x. it's been a long and hard week for me at work. LOA

My Lady, I'm sure Camac appreciated your note .
Yea, I got busy reading and responding, it can be addictive!! Since I'm on the computer so much on the weekdays for work I would never get on the weekends but this site is making me look on the weekends!!!
Came in a little later than normal today and right now I'm listening to my new cd Gentle Rain by Wild Thyme which I received from the St. Patrick's Day contest.
I'm still having issues with my right shoulder and right side of my neck. Whenever I pick up anything with my right hand I can feel it straining in my shoulder. I left one of my heating pads at the office so I have it here if I need it. It's one of those microwave bead type and I can just drape it over my shoulder.
Well, I guess I'll get on to doing some work now since it's 11am.

Still not feeling that terrific but better than this weekend, getting ready to go home soon and let the pups out, it starting to rain though, so it will be a challenge to get them out the door.
I'm rejoicing, 'cause my hubby just got transfered to a town near where we live. He's been driving an hour and 45 minutes just to get to work, then again to get home for almost 2 years - the new drive will take all of 20 minutes!
And I'm happy too 'cause tomorrow I get to:
and the whole day. Yippee!

From the ashes a fire shall be woken, A light from the shadows shall spring; Renewed shall be blade that was broken, The crownless again shall be king..."
I'm here at the library, using the internet and listening to the White Sox-Indians game on my walkman.

It's BASEBALL SEASON AGAIN!!!!!!!!! FINALLY!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Man I missed my 'Bravos' something awful. But last night they played the Nationals in the new stadium, I didn't even mind it that we lost 'cause its cool the Nats won in their new house. I think our pitcher Tim Hudson is a keeper, doggone that boy can pitch.
And tonight its GLAVINE pitching! Got him back (hope he's still got the magic!! May be too old... I didn't say that, I swear I didn't...)

Family is all well!
Hello Ulster, yes it can be addictive in some way, this is so different from work though because you get to be in contact with people from around the world, that's what make this place very rewarding.
As for what I am doing right now well it's kind of obvious...that I just finish supper and am now in front on this machine writing to friends! LOA
Nursing a broken hand. I hit my SOLID OAK Dresser yesterday and got a "Boxer Fracture" on right little finger.
My dear Druid, I broke this finger twice and I know how you feel right now.
Although some would say that the little finger is of almost no use well...when broken it hurt like the devil because the weight from all the other fingers is on the last one which is the little finger. So I had my right arm in a slilng for a month and could not use the hand at all.
