Hi all, doubt if anyone remembers me - joined quite a few years ago, but never been that active on the forum. I got an email about the fund raising, and decided to pitch in, and start hanging out on the forums here again. Questions? Feel free to ask, and who knows - I just might even answer a few of them ;-) |

Hi Rindy, I was, am, and will be Hellknight the site has most certainly grown a lot larger over the years I was absent. There where 2 or 3 radio channels back then, forum was a lot smaller, as far as recall. A little about me: I'm a 27-y/o guy from the Netherlands, working at the IT department of a large logistical company. Besides that, I'm active with the local department of GroenLinks (GreenLeft, the Dutch Greens Party), as webmaster, political assistent, etc. Hobbies: computers (hence the "celtic nerd" title), reading (fantasy / thrillers), playing D&D with my friends, photography. Besides Celtic music, I've been for years highly intrested in celtic myth and legends. |

Welcome back Hellknight! I do remember you! And judging by your member number you signed up during the first few years! Been alot of things we have changed over the years, hopefully your experiencing with now Celtic Radio is a bit faster and better. I think back in the early days we were known as Scottish Radio, or possibly the Scottish Highlander Radio. Its been along journey....... How are things in the Netherlands these days? We seem to have a growing membership and listenership from there! |

Hi MacFive, thanks for the welcome (btw - thanks to you as well, Rindy). I can't speak for all of the Netherlands (we may be a small country, but there's still a lot of people here )but I'm fine. I think that in a lot of places, in the Netherlands as well as elsewhere, grow tired of the standard hitparade stuff they call music nowadays, and start looking for something else, some of them ending up here, which is a good thing |
