Thanks Gwenlee, I'll meet you at Borders and get the tickets and go next door to catch a movie at Park Place. What's playing over there these days?
Throwing a bottle of hair color at the next poster.

Throws a Statue of Brigid (Celtic Goddess, Catholic Saint) th the next Poster. Brigid brought me through the procedure and my colon was completely clear.
I'll put St. Brigid on one of my many bookshelves and toss a teeny beeny baby to the next poster. (Just found a bunch in a drawer the other day)
gwenlee, got mine coloured and trimmed up today but DD#3 went whole hog and did the Locks for Love bit. She had 10 inches chopped off and looks adorable with the new short hair style.
What's this with all the Georgia girls coloring their hair? I just did mine the other day. I am going back to the dark side - with a touch of red this time. Originally I am a brunette, did the blond thing 10 years ago, and am going back to the original.
Anyway, I am throwing a tall Cinnamon Dolce Latte from Starbucks at the next poster.
Gwyn I went to the dark side too with red highlights. My original color is dark brown with red highlights.
Wombat locks of love is great. My daughter did that when she was on chemo the last time before her hair fell out. Don't think her hair is long enough this time
Throws a broken police scanner at the next poster!!!!

]AN EXCERPT FROM A POEM THAT I WROTE ON 10/11/07
WE CAN'T CHANGE WHAT WE HAVE DONE.... BUT ONLY TAKE A LESSON FROM EACH EXPERIENCE AND MAKE THE MOST OF EACH MINUTE THAT WE HAVE LEFT AND TELL OURELVES THAT IT IS OK TO LIVE, LAUGH AND CRY..... PAST, PRESENT AND FUTURE ALL WORK TOGETHER TO GIVE US WHAT WE CAN AND SHOULD EXPERIENCE AND WE NEED TO CHERISH ALL OF THE TIME THAT WE SPEND WITH OURSELVES AND OTHERS MAKING THE MOST OF THE SPECIAL MEMORIES THAT ARE OURS.. AND THE ONES THAT WE HAVE YET TO CREATE WITH THE PEOPLE THAT WE HAVEN'T MET!!!!![/SIZE]
Thanks maybe I can use something of it, to fix the broken one I have at the shop.
Throwing a well used dictionary at the next poster.

"If a man has found nothing he's willing to die for, he is not ready to live"
DISCIPLINE MUST BE A HABIT SO INGRAINED THAT IT IS STRONGER THAN THE EXCITEMENT OF BATTLE OR THE FEAR OF DEATH. General George S. Patton
Laws that forbid the carrying of firearms, disarm only those who are neither inclined nor determined to commit crimes. Such laws make things worse for the assulted, and better for the assailants. They serve rather to encourge, than to prevent homicides. For an unarmed man may be attacked with greater confidence than an armed man.
