Celtic Radio Community > Introductions > Greetings From The Cold Land Of Ohio, Usa!

Hi there, one and all. I sing in a Celtic folk band, and one of my band mates clued me in to this site. I am learning to play the tin whistle and I currently play the Bodhran. We are hoping to lay down some CDs this year, but for now we play reenactments, coffee houses and other gigs.

I have Scottish ancestry (Clan Graham), and apart from singing in our group, I also participate in French & Indian War reenactments in a Black Watch group (Graham's company) in Michigan, Ohio, Indiana and New York as of July.

I love penpals, so contact me at [email protected] or http://www.myspace.com/coolmom32

Thanks for having such a great site!

Welcome to Celtic Radio! We have many interseting things going on around here. It has been the music that has brought everyone here and the people that keep things going. This family is welcoming, warm, and friendly. If there is something you don't know and want to know, just ask. We have many walks of life with varied interests represented here.

So pull up a cozy chair, pull off your shoes, enjoy your beverage of choice, relax, enjoy the music and have some fun.

Keeps us informed of the progress of your CD. Personally, I'm always looking for new music. I'm sure Macfive could slip in a single or two into the rotation. Contact him to work out the details.

Again, Welcome!

Hey Kara! It isn't THAT cold here in Ohio. Yep, guilty, I'm a Buckeye too.

Hope you have a great time here at CR. It's a fun place. And get your cd done, girl. We like new music here.

Thanks for the warm welcome, all. I haven't had a chance to explore all the topics yet for posting. But I listened all week while I work. I love this site!
