Though this may be a touchy topic, I found it to be of some curiosity

Has anyone noted a growing number of the far left and some of even the moderate left moving toward antisemitism?

A refined D lady I know who has been a model of religious and ethnic tolerance, of late, has developed some disturbing anti Jewish ideas and there have been others, all since obama's declaration about Israel's borders. To date none of the conservatives I am working with have expressed these ideas though one can not know what others believe in private.

I would hope this trend does not continue.

While I have not noticed that in particular, I have noticed the way this
administration has been dealing with Isreal.
Now, I am anti-Isreal, not anti-Jewish, but anti-Isreal, so I really don't care.
But I have noticed a change in the relationship.

I have heard some crude and biggoted comments from politicians on both sides in private or closed groups. The comments came from both R's and D's.

Prior to WW2 Hitler's media machine started the ball rolling and many german citizens jumped on board. The nazzi machine also picked a group of people who were a drain on their society, profoundly disabled children, and proposed a "solution." Again the people agreed.

Israel is not a major exporter and they survive on our aid with the generosity of those of the hebrew faith throughout the world along with some revenue from tourists. In my opinion, they were a better friend for the aid we provided than most of the rest of the world. Under previous administrations we did not coddle hamsas or hezbolla amd Israel was our gate keeper there. Whether we over paid for the service is a matter for thought. They as a country have also done some things with which we did not agree.

As I do not wish to see history repeat it's self I would hope our citizens are more vigilent.

I read in our local paper today that Delta airlines has joined of sorts with Saudi Arabia's national airline. The Saudi rules prevent Jews from flying on their airlines and it appears that Delta will now have to bar them on certain flights too. There will probably be more on this next week.

I do not like the sound of this!
