I'm going to have to ask my parents for their neighbors' phone number so I can borrow their teenagers to help me move.

May the Irish hills caress you. May her lakes and rivers bless you. May the luck of the Irish enfold you. May the blessings of Saint Patrick behold you.
I had a great weekend at the Blairsville Scottish Games and Festival. I did have one bad event. One of the hoses in my truck broke and I was broke down. Luckily my sister and brother in law were close by and came to the rescue until my hunny got there. So I ended up spending money to have it towed and then found out it was a special hose that the local parts store don't carry because it is factory only. Oh well such is life.
But the rest of the weekend went great. We danced at a very formal event in Cobb county and then danced Saturday and Sunday at the games. The only draw back was the heat and humidity.
Mike-I know the pain of moving. I am still unpacking.
Greetings to everyone! Hi J P. thanks for your concern.
In short, the wonderful answer is I feel brilliant!
My cuts have healed, the bruising is all gone - I'm a great believer in Arnica ointment and all the bruising cleared rapidly - and now that I'm back on foot I'm walking I suppose about 20km a day minimum.
The car isn't well and it might end up being written off.
I hope everyone out there is well and that you are all having good Summer weather.
Love and peace to all

Budget had a web-only special, but I would've gone with them anyway because they're the cheapest. U-Haul is in the middle and Penske is the most expensive.
I've been slowly but surely unpacking and moving stuff around to where I like it.
Today I went over to the post office and filled out the change of address card, called ComEd and got my account transferred from my old address and went over to Saint Christopher Catholic Church to register as a parishoner. I still need to get my drivers' license corrected but am in no rush to do that.

Hello to all..this probably isn't the place to start, but here I am...hope everyone's summer is going splendidly...ours is extremely hot right now and wishing it would cool off just a smidge and be less humid...don't we always wish it was warm and then when it warms up, wish it was cool?
Hello Emmalou, a new friend, and all you old friends Gwenlee and MDF... no no, Gwen, I didn't mean old like OLD I meant like long-time.
I don't get to visit here much any more and I sure miss it. I regret being out of touch with everyone and think of you often. This is one of the best discussion boards I've ever been a member of!
Hey WallaceGal, my son lives in northeast Pennsylvania, in Berwick - and works in nearby Nescopek. He loves living there, and we've sure enjoyed our visits. It's so danged hot down here in Georgia and he knows it, and will call to gloat: "heeeyyy, it's only 78* here how hot is it THERE" the little rascal.
LOL! Susan

Hey SB-no offense taken old friends are great. I hope your and yours are doing fine alone with everyone else here in the forum.
I too don't get in here as often as I like either. And next month I will be out of town for 3 weeks. I am off the The great Pacific Northwest state of Washington. I will be visiting my sister and other family.
Mike, I am glad to know that you are moved.
Well I better get going I have to work tonight and before I go I have to get my kitchen floor mopped.
Susan, they're having cooler weather in PA than we are here in MI. It is beautiful country, you're right. But then, GA is too, as long as I stay out of the red clay
The red clay we have down here is sumthin'! Dig a hole in it to plant a flower and doggone if the clay doesn't hold the water like a bowl and drown the poor plant. I swear my dad had that happen when he made a rock garden. Thank the good Lord we have sandier soil where we live now that is actually till-able. Got a veggie garden going this year!
Gwen, have fun in the northwest. It's getting some good press, with the popular Twilight movie being set there.
