02/02/08.

Some have asked for more poems from me so here is another.
My Land (True North)

From icy cap
And rock so old
Suspened south
For endless miles
From Ocean west
To Ocean east
From Mountains high
To rocky isles

Across vast plains
And lakes so bold
From Rolling hills
To tundra cold
From northern forests
Where eagles fly
To prairies flat
Where wheat grows high

From island soil
As red as blood
To rugged coasts
And tidal mud
Of cities great
And towns so small
From border long
To arctic pole

From native tounge
The village came
To stand forth proud
As this lands' name.

Ah! I really am getting old for I missed this one.
And a beautiful homage to our country Canada.
Thank you Camac.LOA

You know Camac, if you keep painting such a beautiful portrait of Canada. You might end up with more American immigrants then you want.

The more the merrier. We may not be perfect here in the North but we're the closest damn thing you will find.
