btw: is showing those pictures of hussein against the genever convention? I think so, I'm not outright sure though. But the Government could be in trouble already about that camp in cuba...
I'll check it out when I get chance. Unsure but could be, but being he is the main target and what might help the Iraqi people rest easier I doubt anything would ever be done.
yes but I meant that film footage, I think there is some article about not showing those POW's... if he is treated under that.. if not I pull this back...

I know where the WMD are but when somebody points them out to the American public, they are charged with destruction of government property and trespassing and jailed re:the three elderly nuns who were convicted in Federal District Court in Denver a short time back. In my work, I am often on the road in northeast Colorado and southeast Wyoming and I have seen evidence of enough WMD to destroy us all.
As far as The capture of Saddam effecting the 2004 presidental election, if it were held today yes but a month from now when we are still losing men and women in Iraq, unemployment is still not dropping, health care costs are still skyrocketing, the Federal deficit is growing by leaps and bounds, and Mr. Bush continues to tell us what a great thing he has done for us by cutting taxes that most of us have seen no benefit from it will make no difference.
I'm sure it will provide more peace of mind for the Kurds and Shiites in Iraq knowing that he is in custody, but as far as I'm concerned it makes no difference. He has never been a threat to the US or UK regardless of what Mr.s Bush and Blair told us, and anybody who knows anything about the two would realize that Bin Laden probably hates Saddam nearly as much as Bush does. Bin Laden does what he does in the name of Islam (however misdirected that may be) and Saddam was completely secular and persecuted the Shiia sect of Islam which Bin Laden supports.

Sir, living in your area definitely gives you a different perspective. I grew up in S. E. Idaho. I have lived in Parachute, CO, Rock Springs and Green River WY. I also agree with your analysis of the political realities we face. The reasons for the invasion of Iraq were smoke and mirrors to distract us from the systematic looting of the US economy.
While I disagree with Sir Richard Bercots position, I am really glad he is stating his views. I respect him greatly for it. He is a fine person.

Alright, alright, you guys are embarrassing me now.
All I am trying to do is to show that other people has different ideas too.
I try to think of myself as being Central, not Right Wing or Left Wing. Now some times I may lean one way or another. But I try to keep myself Central.
By the way, Thank you for your kind comments.
