|Celtic Radio Community > Technical Support > Upgrading Our Network|
|Posted by: CelticRadio 28-Sep-2017, 07:48 PM|
| Just a quick note that we are performing upgrades on our network which is resulting in a much more stable environment.
We identified a number of issues effecting our broadcast servers and website. As it turns out, the line connecting the studio to the internet needed to be replaced and was the major cause of our broadcast channels going down occasionally throughout the day.
With our new line and a new modem/router all channels have been streaming without interruption today for 15 hours since our last reboot. Yah!
Sometime in the next 48 hours our bandwidth will also be upgraded and we will lift any throttling restrictions on accessing our website.

|Love those weeks! Well the line still has not been upgraded, but perhaps Monday or Tuesday. The order is in they just need to flip the switch.|

| Good news, our internet provider has completed the upgrade process for CelticRadio.net and you should see improved performance on the website and a very stable broadcast on our channels. (no drops or further problems with the streams).
This is the fastest line we have had into the studio and we are hoping with these improvements we will continue to increase our listenership and members with a stable quality experience.
