It snowed twice this week. brrrrrrr

And the temp dropped to -37*C (-34.6*F) and -48*C (-54.4*F) with the windchill.

brrrrrrrrrrrr

I think Annabelle would turn into a popsicle with temperatures like those. That is even cold in my standard. sad.gif

That would be an Annabellesicle. Picture a pretty blue color. laugh.gif

Oh Janey I'm glad you got down safely from the Mountain. Now I'd love the snow. You could leave me up there provided I had enough supplies, gas and diet coke. I'll sock in a couple dozen books and the world can go away for a month.
We have property up in NC outside of Boone that we are planning on building up there. I've been all weekend looking at blueprints trying to decide on what to build. I'll be stocked up so if I ever get that type of snow fall everyone can just leave me there.
I'll have back up generators, gas and Celtic Radio, what more do I need?

Come ahead, Annabelle! We have a generator there just in case, heated with propane gas stove so you won't freeze and the cooler is full of Diet Coke (is there any other kind of refreshment?). You could even have your own bedroom. thumbs_up.gif sleep1.gif

JaneyMae that sounds wonderful. Maisky put a sock in it! The girl has a plan of action that I would jump at the chance to enjoy. All I need is Maker's Mark Bourbon and Diet Coke. Can't live without my Diet Coke. I really don't need much food but I'll have a freezer full anyway like Cheesecake, shrimp, meatballs for sweet and sour, ice cream (my brother's favoirte (vanilla) and anything else we feel like. I've already got the books ready. I've finally got the bllueprints narrowed down to only about 40 so I'm getting there.

Annabellesickle is whole heartedly me. As long as there is snow I'm out in it.
We took our family up to Gatlinburg for Christmas about 6 years ago. It snowed and I was always outside in it. My hubby and his sister got annoyed that I wouldn't come in and cook. Told them "every person for themselves". Now I didn't desert them totally. They had a house full of food. Salads already made and lots of fresh veg's and desserts. God forbide they would have to turn on the stove. So I stayed out all day. My sister in law kept telling me I was to old to body ski and started nagging me. Well after sitting there enjoying a shot of MM I got back up and just walked outside and started sliding down the hill again head first with my slider. Oh yea! Great Fun!
Even if the temp is super low I bundle up cover my face and go for it. Growing up in Fla we never had snow (go figure) so I'm crazy (Literally) about the stuff. So are my kids. They can't get over how I can go down after them and beat them back to the top. Told them they should never grow up! It sucks being an adult. Stay a kid! More fun!
