Whisky - Loch Fyne
QUOTE
Slightly sweet and slightly smoky, The Loch Fyne (£15.90) appeals to malt whisky fans as an easy-drinking, well flavoured blended whisky; something to drink and enjoy rather than concentrate on. We have given The Loch Fyne to the top professional tasting writers and while all enjoy it, their tasting notes are completely different! proof that it is something for everyone! Soon after its launch The Loch Fyne won the bronze award in the blended whisky class at the influential International Wine & Spirit Competition. The Gold Medal went to the world's top selling Scotch, Johnnie Walker Red Label.

Yes in a small pub in a tiny village called Portnoo while in Ireland Co.Donegal with wonderful folks we've met. We didn't pay the beer of course.
But while I like to enjoy a beer I do appreciate a good scotch sometimes at night and two in particular are the Glenfiddich or Ballantyne. Verra good.Hmmmm

The question is: What is your drink?......anything free. So I'm easy to please. As long as it does not blow up when someone lights a smoke it's worth trying...........right?????
I need my rum (Captain Morgan's) and coke when the kids finally crash for the night. Nothing can touch it, perfect for winter, spring, summer, and fall. I've never been one for the fancy drinks.
Let's see....I am a winemaker by hobby...mostly fruit wine; however I love old vine Zinfandels (deep chocolaty red) and Riesling never fails... I would really like to tackle making some Mead....
I really enjoy Dalwhinnie Scotch!
TGIF going to Bluegrass festival this weekend....woohoo
I have many funny coinkydinkies when browsing these forums--
I am drinking my fave drink- which is my hubby's homemade hard cider with a cap of (sigh- I feel as if we are all too predictable here) Guinness. It's called a Crown Float. I asked him to share his cider making tips but he said it's the same as any book would tell you. We support a local farmer though, about 4 bushels a year-- light and crispy as champagne. I'm not partial or anything, but it's a phenomenal combo.
His fave Scotches: Lagavulin 16 yo, Caol Isla 18 yo, Couvrer 12 yo single single
Her fave drink: Hendrix martini
No shooters for either, but I love good microbrew beers. My faves are Dogfish Head ale, Flying Dog ale, and most things from the Magic Hat line.

My drink during the week is usually strong green tea or coffee, but on the weekend when I don't have to be into work the next day its Draft: Guinness.
