Ok, this is definitely not Celtic Music related; although all of the members of the band called the Beatles are definitely of Scottish, Welsh and English descent, so I guess it is somewhat related.

Sir McCartney's Mull of Kintyre is a favorite on Celtic Radio as played by Barleyjuice - so another connection!

I do believe we are on the verge of a Beatles revival in a big way. Everyone under the age of 19 is about to be introduced to the Beatles through the very popular video game series called ROCK BAND THE BEATLES.

This is going to be very big; there is probably not a teenager around that does not know what Rock Band is. And I say it is a good thing. Compared to some of the songs on radio today, the Beatles music has alot of depth, musical genius and has a nice balance between hard rock and soft rock.

Read more up on Rock Band for the beatles here:

Rockband is a virtual game where you have real instruments hooked up to the video console (Xbox, Wii, Playstation). Microphone, Guitar, Drums and a number of people can simulate playing in a band together. It's one of those games that as a parent you can see teamwork being applied and a group of kids working together.

I am looking forward to my kids singing Sgt. Pepper's Lonely Hearts Club band! And 9/09 just so happens to be Killian and myself 21st Wedding Anniversity.

So happy September 9th to everyone and let the Beatle Hysteria begin again!

I was in college when The Beatles came to America. Wow! When I came home for a weekend with a Beatles haircut my parents marched me off for the traditional crew cut. They were paying for my college education and I had to play by their rules. I survived.

I never got into trendy hair styles. I did like the Beetles but Elvis was my generation.

This is wonderful news I just can't imagine where the world of music would be without the Beatles influence. The virtual game sounds fun.

I hope you and Killian have a Happy 21st Anniversary. Let us know how the concert goes. thumbs_up.gif walkman.gif

I remember watching The Beatles on The Ed Sullivan Show and how I hooted and hollered along with the crowd. My favorite was George. One of my all time favorite song was note.gif Do You Want To Know a Secret!!! note.gif I still have my Beatle Albums. Too bad that George and John are no longer with us. sad.gif I don't think my children were into the Beatles, maybe my grandchildren will get into Beatlemania!
