W00T! Sounding good for me so far. laugh.gif

If you want, I'll work out some sort of Cape Breton pilgramage to go on before settling down for Stanfest. You can't go all the way to Canso NS without seeing the Cabot Trail.

While in CB, it's an easy stop to see the Fortress of Louisburg.

Eamon, but is it your Pennsylvania?

Aye, Lassie, it is! Its MINE. I have officaily declared it the "Provisional Republic of Pennsylvania" king.gif And its an Island. I just have to do something about New Jersey and Ohio...I canna have them riding our coat tails.

See you at Stanfest? Oldraven knows all the Stan lyrics...I am planning on being his groupie.

Eamon, your the best. Your the one responsible for getting rid of that stupid law that motorcylists had to wear a helmet. You have made 300,000 bikers very happy.
Now, fix those damn potholes!!!!!! thumbs_up.gif biggrin.gif

Is it ok, if I still cross the bridge from New Jersey and ride Rt. 6??

Tvhe republic of Pennsylvania is yours, hummm! Have you informed it's senator and congressmen you are taking possession. I believe you could do a better job of managing.
if you run into trouble you can insist on the clause: Off with their heads' if you aren't pleased my lord.

Nova Scotia would be great too as I have never been to Canada and hope to one day soon! Gotta go to Scotland first though. Hopefully that will be next year.

Ah, Shrule, you are from the Northwest area of Jersey? Beautiful area, especialy around the Water Gap and High Point. I declare the area north of Flemington 'Eagandom,' and offer you the support of my army. Caution, Teterboro and Bayonne are going to be your worst enemy, so Good luck.

I am working on the Pot hole situation. My plan to fill the holes with politicians didn't work so good. People kept driving into them.

Annabell, *bows* thanks for your support! Every new country needs a pretty Lady to fight for.

Eamon, we like the occasional city slicker to come up here and amuse us. They like to stop along the roadside with the farm animals and have their picture taken with them. biggrin.gif Their biggest problem is, they don't know the difference between a cow and a bull and most end up in the hospital. wallbash.gif

I would not mind going to Nova Scotia for a get together at all. The country side is beautiful from what I've seen Oldraven has posted.
But the first one to start this thing really needss to be where we can get the most peopl together at one time to have a great start and get everyone else interested in coming to the next one...

OK, I can understand the centralization thing.
It seems to me, from what I've seen, the majority seems to be around the east coast.

Might I suggest somewhere in Missouri then, since there are a few of us that are west of the Mississippi.

I have no idea whats there, but it does seem fairly central.

Also, might I suggest that if we're going to try to have this around some kind of gathering, how about a Renn Faire or Celtic Festival. That way no one can say we're being bias, rather than a Highland Games.

Just a couple of thoughts.

That's the reason it would be nice if we go for getting the most people together that we can. it seem's to be around the OHio to Pennsylvania area.
A bunch of party animals here on the east coast.
No we don't want anyone upset or feel left out! That's why we are trying to get everyone to sign up on this thread who's interested. That way everyone is considered. The final decission of locations will be voted on by everyone who is interested. That's really the only fair way to handle it.
Me being in the south is way off the beaten path and I know it. So I don't mind traveling to another location.
When everyone's tired of being frozen up north we will have one down here in the South so ya'll can thaw out! But dat day ain't here yet.
