Same here, usually every evening there's at least a couple people in chat...personally, I don't get off work til 8pm so its pretty much a late night on Highlander for me as well. I don't mind though, the music's beautiful, the friends you meet and make are wonderful, and that makes for an outstanding place to be!
Welcome to all you new members! Hope you find everything alright...don't be afraid to ask any questions about the forums, music stream, technical questions, etc. You can always find someone here to help you!

"After all is said and done, a lot more will be said than done."
My name is Vicki, although I also answer to "La Femme Vickita." I've been making the rounds of sites and blogs related to Celtic music these past few days because I've been posting news about the Rogues of Scotland. (Gotta get my blurb in there. It's my excuse for living this week. Hee.)
Anyway, a side benefit of this little effort is I've been finding all of these fine places on the web, and meeting lots of really kind and interesting new people. I was already thoroughly in love with the Rogues and their family of friends, and lo, it just grows and grows.
So, hey, any of you who have a chance to see my boys perform, I highly recommend it. We have a lot of fun, and the odds are really very good that I'll be there, on the front row with my trusty Nikon. If you've never heard E.J. Jones play the pipes, you don't know what you're missing, and this year we've got a new piper in the group, Jeremy Freeman, who won second place in the Silver Medal at the Northern Meeting at Inverness in 2004, which is a pretty big accomplishment. E.J. and Jeremy and Randy and Nelson are working on a new CD that should be out in the spring. We're all really excited about the new music.
I do beleive in the past we have received mailings of your "boys" as we have a number of CDs playing on our broadcast. Feel free to keep us updated with the last releases. We will definitely keep the Rogues of Scotland in our playlists!
Welcome Vickita! Sadly I don't live anywhere near Texas to watch them in person, but I am checking out the website. I am glad you are here, and I hope we get to hear from you on the forums.

In my opinion you will not find a nicer bunch of people anywhere on the net! And the music is great too! So kick off your shoes, pull up a mug of your favorite drink, turn up the music and enjoy! When you signed in here, you became a part of our big family, and we want you to feel at ease!
