Hey, Dreamer, I loved this quiz. smile.gif
I have to admit, I missed 3 of the typically American questions, but all in all I'm glad this ol' brain of mine is still working quite properly... tongue.gif

"The Day the Music Died" referred to the plane crash in which Buddy Holly, Richie Valens and J P Richardson "The Big Bopper" died. It was a significant hit on the music world of the time.

Twas St . Patrick himself, sure, that set it;
And the sun of his labour with pleasure did smile,
And with dew from his eye often wet it.
It grows through the bog, through the brake, through the
Mireland, and they call it the dear little shamrock of Ireland.

This one is kinda funny as I'm only 18, really a youngster! But I only missed 4 answers. I think I learned it all through osmosis from my parents and grandparents. biggrin.gif

Do you remember life before the 8 track?

Records that broke when you dropped them?

Only 3 channels on TV

B&W TV ( what was color?)

those little records with the hole in the middle the size of a TP roll?

Cash was used for every purchase?

Gas at $0.25 per gallon and cigs at $0.10 per pack?

Oh there is much more that I remember... those were the days!

I'm glad you all are having as much fun as I did! (And you're right - it only took me a minute, or maybe just under, to take this one.) There's another little jingle that the NESTLES question brought to mind. See if you remember enough to fill in the blanks...

It's_________
My bologna has a second name_______
Oh I love to eat it every day
And if you ask me why I'll sayyy
'Cause ______ _______ has a way with __________!
