I’m sorry to say that Paul Newman passed today. (What we have here is a failure to communicate). He will be missed.

I just read that the Senate is ready to pass a 25 billion bail out of GM, Chrysler and Ford (as part of another bill). I first heard this as a news release from Pelosi in the House. It makes one wonder what else has slipped under the radar in the midst of all this chaos!

So sorry to hear about the passing of Paul Newman. He was one of the best.

I hope our govt is able to work out the best deal to save us all! Kind of nervous about all that.

It looks like legislation is moving forward on the Webcaster Settlement Act. The following information you can read at http://www.savenetradio.org/latest_news/08-10-01.html Let's hope President Bush does his job.

Oct. 01, 2008

WASHINGTON D.C. – Legislation authorizing SoundExchange to negotiate royalty agreements with webcasters on behalf of copyright owners and performers before the end of the year has been approved by the U.S. Senate. The Webcaster Settlement Act of 2008 (H.R. 7084), passed unanimously in the House of Representatives earlier this week, was approved by the Senate yesterday evening and now awaits President Bush’s signature.

Michigan got beat by Toledo today 13-10 at home. Worst start since before Bo Schembechler! I hope Rich Rodriguiz continues to get his just desserts for abandoning West Virginia University last season. We won the Fiesta Bowl against Oklahoma without him anyway!

...GO MOUNTAINEERS!!

Penn State ripped Wisconsin...Florida ripped LSU!

Jillian, I have to agree. It was great to see Toledo beat Michigan! Michigan thought Rich Rodriguiz was the second coming of Bo Schembechler. It wouldn't bother me if they lose the rest of the season. I'm a big SEC fan myself. I can't believe how Florida handled LSU, what a game.

I am sorry to hear about that. Their stock was up today along with most others. If this holds and credit improves, it may be temporary.

So today, The Straight Talk Express actually said, and I quote… ‘That Obama would say anything to win”. I mean doesn’t this guy even think about what he says, before he says it!
You know as much as I would like to vote for Ralph Nader, or for any other third party candidate for that matter. I can’t take the chance of McCain pulling it out, (even though I don’t believe that’s possible), unless of course, the voting machines are already fixed.
