| I am ashamed to admit that I have not been keeping up with all of the political wrangling this year and I'm just not really sure how to vote. Does anyone know if there is a website anywhere that discusses nominees nationwide and how they stand on issues of interest to Christians? If so, please post a link here. I'd REALLY appreciate it! |

| Wizz, I don't know of a specific website, but I can offer a suggestion that might help. For the elections in which you are qualified to vote, find out who the candidates are, and simply research them. That's as complicated as it gets for me. I think it would be nice to be able to just plug a name into an online database, and find out all the political candidate's stand on every conceivable issue, but how could you trust such a site to not be slanted in one direction or another? You have half the battle won already in that you know how you stand. All that's left is to learn about the candidates. |

| Keeping up with politics can be a challenging thing to do, but I have a few websites that might help. One is http://www.factcheck.org/to help get past the retoric of political ads. Another is http://www.smartvoter.org/. I hope you find these helpful. Since christians are both left and right on the political scale, it would be hard to decide what would be best for christians. Guess that is why our church is so divided. Politicians run the country and most of what they vote on does not directly affect the church, ie building roads, funding schools, etc.. |

| I have found Townhall.com to be a site that offers a good perspective. If I am not mistaken, I think Christian Coalition still offers voter guides for some races. You might Google them to see if they have an active website. I don't always agree with the views of Pat Robertson (but hey, sometimes I don't even agree with myself ), but his group usually provides commentary on a host of political issues. |

| I like Project Vote Smart at http://www.vote-smart.org/ to discover who your officials are and how they stand on the issues. I also like The American Center for Law and Justice at http://www.aclj.org/ - they are the direct opposition to the ACLU and they usually don't mind saying who supports what. |
