I haven't checked all the past posts if this topic was discussed, but my concern is for all the Christians who are being persecuted in so many parts of the world.

Does anyone read Voice of the Martyrs? Our fellow Christians are suffering such atrosity for their faith in Christ. And what the haters of Christ are doing to His believers in this age of human rights is never reported by the media.

We, as Christians who live in free countries are responsible for making this wickedness known to as many people as possible and pray for the suffering, and do whatever we can to support them.
Please visit the web for VOM and ask for free subscription to their monthly newsletter.

Get Voice of the Martyrs at home plus their email updates. Should be required reading for all Christians. My son and my daughter and her husband will be going as missionaries to countries that are technically closed to the Gospel. Helps me to pray even more for our brethren who suffer while some of us live in relative ease.

Good post!

Thanks so much for posting, haynes. I'm encouraged! If you don't mind could you let me know the names of your family members (just first names) who are going as missionaries and the countries they are going to (if it's allowed) by private mail? I want to pray for them.

I used to get VOM, I should get it again, it certainly is eye opening and gives a focus for prayer.

Here Down Under the persecution is very subtle. Today i read that hospitals and hotels/motels are removing Bibles from rooms (ie Gideons) in case muslims and other non christians are "offended".

and here's me thinking this is a Christian nation!!

sorry to get off topic.

I found on the site where you can write to imprisoned Christians. It will even translate phrases into their own language.

That, at least, is something I can do.
