No, sgian du is a Gaelic pharse commonly translated as "Black Knife." It is a Scottish knife and was generally speaking a Scotsman's last line of defense in a fight. Though dubh means black, it can also mean secret, whihc would be more appropriate in this case, so a better translation would be "secret knife."
