I saw the old show, Thelma and Louise. I forgot it was a pretty good show.

Happy New Year

P.S. I should shut my trap and get to readin my outlander book huh Rose? book.gif

Rindy, I am already dreading the Fiery Cross to be over cause then I have to wait till Diana's new book to come out this year some time and it will be hard to wait.

It has been a long time since I saw Thelma and Louise! I think that was Brad Pitt's first big role, wasn't it?

Happy New Year!

Hiya Celticrose! Its good to be back.

My son bought 'I Robot' so we got to watch it again... since I knew what was going to happen, this time I understood the story a lot better. Takes two go-rounds for me to comprehend sometimes, okay say it: I'm DENSE!

Ugh, the Wayans family...

Damon is the funny one. The others want to be him when they grow up...

that is true.
I enjoyed a movie or two from them so I thought I'd give this one a shot.
Do you remember as a kid doing something that you thought was a good idea but everyone else kept telling you no? well, this was one of those times.

I just got finished watching Troy and King Arthur. I thought Troy was better than the comments I had heard. A lot of the graphics were kind of rough. As far as King Arthur, I had read the book, due to this forum and I thought the book was better than the movie. I did enjoy it and I think it was worth the rent. Give them thumbs_up.gif

I liked "Troy". Brad Pitt was very good as Achilles.

I got The Seventh Stream for Christmas. EXCELLENT movie about a selkie.

We watched The Seventh Stream tonight. It was a very good movie. Wizard, did you happen to notice the book that Owen was looking at trying to find out more info on the myth of the Selkie? It was titled Celtic Faery Tales. I think that would be a great book to have, if it is actually real. Amazon doesn't carry it. sad.gif

Recently went to see National Treasure. It was alright, not spectacular. Also finally found The Quiet Man on DVD the other day. My girls did not want to watch it, but after all was said and done, they REALLY enjoyed it.

I watched two movies last night. The first one was "Timeline" which I really enjoyed! Gerald Butler is a dream boat!

The second one was called "The Hunted" with Tommy Lee Jones and Benicio del Torres. Very very good movie!

Recently saw Troy, which I loved. Eric Bana just steals that movie away from Orlando Bloom and Brad Pitt. It was really nice to see him in a starring role in a decent movie. Also saw King Arthur which I also liked. It was cool to see Guinevere as something other than the weak willed damsel in distress that she's portrayed as in many other works. And as I read the other comments I realize that this combination has already been commented on but I liked them too.

Just wondering if anyone is going to see the Phantom of the Opera which opens today? The phantom is being played by Gerard Butler, who was born in Glasgow, Scotland. dribble.gif dribble.gif dribble.gif

Well I should Maggie, simply because I am a major Gerald Butler fan! Love that Glaswegian accent! But knowing me, I will probably wait till it comes out in DVD. Plus, I am not a big musical movie fan. I hated the movie Chicago! I know, I am wierd! rolleyes.gif

Watched King Arthur last night and really loved it. I, too, loved how they portrayed Guinevere, catlynelizabeth! Plus, Clive Owen made a great King Arthur.....yummy!
