OK -- Guinness I've had and it's interesting. How do you make garlic ice cream? You must have to roast it first to sweeten it and tame it.

Blackberry ("black raspberry") is another fave from my childhood.

They use very heavy cream to make it, almost like it's condensed or something -- and fresh fruit puree -- it's not like the commercial brands. It's the perfect dessert after a spicy tandoori. It was my favorite ice cream in the world at that moment!
