One thing I'd like to suggest is to have a dinner on Sat night all of us together. Also everyone will have to bring folding chairs with them. When we get close to the actual event we should start a sign up list of who' s going to bring what food and drinks but that's way down the road. |

Needs to be handicapped accessable. A lot of sites may not have a pavillion or such. Possibly just a central location within the site? A bonus if the campground has a pavillion or community building for the potlucks and such. |

Shouldn't it be a Celtic Radio Union since we've never met before? Then the next one can be a re-union. |

I tried to tell them that before, but they slapped an elastic on my beak and tossed me in the pantry. |
Posted by: Elspeth 26-May-2004, 09:53 AM |
Yikes! I better run back to my chimney corner. |
Posted by: 3Ravens 26-May-2004, 09:54 AM |
Hey! I see what you're up to! The gingernuts are in the pantry! |

A wild rodeo with music and dancing? Sounds about right! |
Posted by: Annabelle 30-May-2004, 10:43 PM |
Do ya think it be a fittin thing for this group? Humm, let me think? They would have to practice saying "yeehaw" and the special word to put people in their places "lookehere" |

Annabelle, you're forgetting one thing: MASSIVE QUANTITIES OF BEER !!! |
Posted by: 3Ravens 31-May-2004, 03:35 PM |
that one's so obvious we don't even mention it. |
Posted by: oldraven 31-May-2004, 03:58 PM |
Did somebody say kegger? |
Posted by: Annabelle 31-May-2004, 09:32 PM |
I've got a friend who works for the beer company here. Now very experienced beer drinkers of the world, how long will the beer stay in those kegs? Week, month? If I get a keg from Tom will it be alright to transport it up to the festival? If it's ok with the temperature change how many kegs should we get? |
Posted by: Annabelle 31-May-2004, 09:33 PM |
Ok sisters and little brother, am I always going to be the heavy in the family? |
Posted by: 3Ravens 01-Jun-2004, 07:02 AM |
If you would stop being so bossy, you wouldn't be the heavy! |
Posted by: A Shrule Egan 01-Jun-2004, 04:35 PM
WOW RED!!! That's pretty cool of you to do that. Now let me get this straight. In 2008, you will be living in North Carolina and your going to drive all the way down to Macon, Georgia to pick up a few kegs to bring all the way up here to the north to the CR Union. That's a really great plan but don't they serve 3.2 beer down there? |
Posted by: tsargent62 02-Jun-2004, 06:52 AM
The 3.2 sh** doesn't qualify as beer. Not in my book anyway. |
Posted by: oldraven 02-Jun-2004, 09:36 PM |
All it takes is a destination and we can fedex a few Keiths kegs down. |
Posted by: A Shrule Egan 02-Jun-2004, 09:46 PM
That sure beats Miss A's rendition. WOW, that's a lot of driving!!! |
Posted by: Annabelle 02-Jun-2004, 10:22 PM |
No In 2008 I will still live here and thru my contacts with this gentleman that works for the beer company we can get several kegs at good prices. So I'd be putting it in the back of my truck. Now my question is will it stay good on the transport and temperatures along the way? |
Posted by: oldraven 03-Jun-2004, 07:47 AM |
Seeing as it's under pressure, I can't see how a change in temperature will cause any problems. As long as it's cold when you tap it. But just to be careful, perhaps an insulating blanket would be a good idea. |
Posted by: tsargent62 03-Jun-2004, 09:21 AM |
Packing it in dry ice wouldn't hurt either. |
Posted by: Annabelle 03-Jun-2004, 07:36 PM |
If heat will affect it I won't do it. I'll ask my friend who works there about it. |
Posted by: barddas 04-Jun-2004, 09:36 AM
It will not be affected by the change in climate. Kegs are shipped on trucks, boats and anything else that moves, for long distances. It will be fine. |
Posted by: peckery 04-Jun-2004, 07:34 PM
We should make our own ale at the sight! That would be oh so nice |
Posted by: MDF3530 04-Jun-2004, 10:36 PM
The only alcoholic beverage you can make with bananas are banana daquiris. I thought you'd know that better than all of us ! |
Posted by: Annabelle 07-Jun-2004, 03:40 PM |
Thanks Barddas. I didn't know that. I'll have to see if I can make a Business connection with my lower than life friends and see what he can get for us in 2008. If he won't give me what I want for a great price I'll just shave his head when he comes in for his next haircut. |
