| How did you find CelticRadio.net and how long have you been a member? Have you discovered new musicians or friends? Do you think that CelticRadio.net and Highlander Radio have changed your musical tastes? |

| I was looking online for the haunting song in "We were soldiers once". The one when the Cav mounts up to head into Ia Drang at first I thought it was "Garry Owen" the units battle song but it turned out to be Sgt. Makenzie by Clann an Drumma, CR was the one that set me strait. |

| I found CelticRadio.net through Live365 and fell in love with the station, since joining I turned my daughter onto CelticRadio.net. Keep up the good work. |

| Shoutcast. Three months. New (to me) artists: Heather Dale, Mark Saul, Runrig, Twinflame, Wolfstone, Pipin' Hot, and others. My tastes have broadened to a more edgier rock folk beat such as Runrig and Wolfstone and away from the more traditional folk such as the Chieftains. |

| Google is probably what I was using at the time. I remember that in 1998 a neighbor told me about Loreena McKennitt. I had heard Clannad before via my sister, and remember seeing the video for Enya's "Orrinoco FLow" on MTV but apparently didn't really know what it was. A short but well spaced sequence of events got me addicted to Loreena, and further encounters got me facinated with what little Celtic Music I could find (Next CD I heard being a cassette of Celtic Pride I). I remember that once I got a 56k modem ~1998/1999 I started getting curious about Internet broadcasts and found RealNetworks which at the time was a great place for New Age and several other styles of music not heard on the airwaves around here. I remember listening to that at work when I was at Rio Grande Fence from April 2000 - Mar 2001, and I remember it didn't have any Celtic stations. With how much new music I was finding, I decided to try and find a Celtic Internet Radio station. I found this really cool station that my modem could keep up with called Highlander Radio. Listened to it for a while, then forgot about it for a while as it got lost in the shuffle as do so very many websites. Fast forward to... Ohh when was it, I'm guessing August of 2002? No, I was working; wait I had a temp job in 08/02, same place as my mom... Files show as around May of 2003 (Might have been slightly earlier, screenshots stamped 05/31/03). That puts me working at EDS. Could be about right. Anyway... I got to wanting Celtic Internet radio again and remembered this one site I had found once before and rather liked, but dangit what was the name of it??? Time for the ever faithful Google. I started clicking through the results looking for whichever one it was I remembered of Highlander Radio, or CelticRadio. I found one that had one name in the URL and one in the site itself... Was this the one I remembered? A little bit of browsing and I was convinced that, yes. I took note of it this time and came back a few times in the next week to tune in. Then it became more and more routine. Anyone remember when it looked like this: I became a regular listener, and then discovered the forums in Early september. I had already ordered Emerald Rose's Bending Tradition because of it (A tough sell to someone still leary of buying things off the Internet) I signed up, and here I am today. I have since met a great many wonderful people, and discovered a wealth of Celtic Music. My search led me here, and this site has been a Godsend. It has been exactly what I originally set out looking for. A place to learn about and discover more Celtic Music. I have gained a lot more from this site by now, and I feel that things are nowhere near an end. I will continue to learn things from this site both related and not related to the music and the site's intent. Paul has done a wonderful job here!  Barkeep! Pull a cold one for Paul here would ya? | It was Celtic Rose who introduced me to CelticRadio! She and I were both members of a Scottihs Gaelic learners forum. As a result of some bad things that happened on that list we became friends. It took me forever to find it! I was looking for CelticRadio.COM instead of CelticRadio.NET! I think Rosie thought I was intnentionally avoiding joining the group! Thanks Rosie! I've been a member since March and its been the most fun Ive had in a LONG time!  |

| I believe that it was a Google search for Loreena McKennitt after I heard "Bonny Portmore" in the movie "Highlander: Endgame" while watching it on TV that led me to Celtic Radio. I've been a member for just under two years I believe. |

| this is by chance let me tell about the history from 98 I started to search scottish style music radio and I found Spinner (under Time Warner) after that, netradio.com and after I got winamp at 2000, I found shoutcast.com and I curiously key in "celtic" and in return cleticgrove once I got cable in Fort Drum, I started to run celticgrove over FM broadcast around 2002, returning from Kosovo, and after re-installation I found celticgrove is dead then I search again this is the beginning...highlanderradio however, I had been inactive (just listening and running over FM at late night) until end of 2003 and I go to the site, to find some ppls have similar music favor, then I signup to be a member that's it hey, I am waiting for T-Mobile launching unlimited EDGE once it's launched, this'll be great news highlanderradio goes 100% mobile! not only running modem stream over GPRS (sorry, GSPlayer don't support mp3pro), or need a hotspot to listen 64k |

I was searching for Celtic music on Google. When I lived in Flagstaff AZ I would listen to "Thistle and Shamrock" on KNAU. I can listen to "Celtic connections" now but it is not enough for my jones. I want to listen to more than just an hour a week!  |

I found one (www.magicscotland.net) and there was a link for Highlander Radio. The members of the forum of magicscotland (doesn't exist anymore) recommanded me the radio, I tried, loved the music, the forum, and here I am ! |

| I've listened to other Celtic stations before but this one's the BEST. I found it through Live 365, at first I was listening to Joke A day, but then I searched for Celtic in the genres. I tried them all, and I'm here to stay. I have many favorites, but I was really pleased to find so many new ones on your station. Some of the ones that were new to me were Runrig, Heather Dale, and Great Big Sea. |

| O'siyo (hello/welcome in Cherokee), I came across CelticRadio while doing a search for someone very dear to me asking me to find and listen to Loreena McKennit's song Bonny Portmore. I meant to 'hit'/'click' on the link above this one but instead, I ended up here and have been here as often as possible. Been a member since July 7, '04. Hearing my O'ginalli (friend) sing Danny Boy on the phone for me peaked my 'curiosity' for this 'flavor' of music. I cannot believe and am mesmerized by the beauty of not only this culture but, the haunting songs I have heard on this station thus far. One song I cannot get out of my soul is by Twinflame, Safe & Warm, I believe is the title. WOW! Truly spectacular indeed and I say to the one's responsible for providing this quality, mesmerizing and interesting website, station and music, NI YA WE (thank you). Each time I visit here I find something new and exciting. How refreshing to find such culture on the web without the 'garbage' Has this station 'changed' my taste in music? I wouldn't say 'change' instead it has added to my diversity and knowledge of different cultures and all they entail! I enjoy reading the various postings that are informative, creative and interesting so again Ni Ya We and keep up the spectacular work! Sty-U (stay strong) |

I found it through msn search. I'm constantly doing searches for Celtic/Scottish items on the net and one day I just happened to be looking for music. Low and behold, I found Celticradio and have been a member since. That was back in 2002 and I've been pleased ever since. I recommend the station to friends all the time. My tastes in music have always varied, but with traditional stations (radio), I tend to wander the dial until I find a song that catches me then I'm off flippin again. With Celticradio.net, I never stray. This is the ONLY song in my line-up.  |

| I was dissatisfied with my netscape internet radio so I started to search Google for some nice celtic music to study to, and low and behold I came across Celticradio.net in April 2004 and signed up right away. I have been a loyal listener ever since (especially after I won the CD draw)! |

| I was searching Google for Celtic Music for Local Radio Stations when I found this one and I have been here ever since even though the Music that I could listen too, I can't do anything else on my computer because it freezes my PC up when I do. But I do look up the Artists in the Request under Radio Tools (I think that is what it's in) and download in WinMX and play it on my Winamp. Still I have problems if I try to use either Microsoft Word or try to use the Printer. |

Have two CDs of theirs that I play all the time. well I learned about this site through my favorite author, Diana Gabaldon, who wrote a fictional series based in Scotland. Someone on her site asked about Celtic music and someone replied about this site and I checked it out and the rest is wonderful history. |

| All ready owened a few cd,s from years back wife is first generation irish of her family grandfather missed the boat (titanic) lucky him he was still alive so she listened to him speak gaeilge, me i am a mutt (english irish) down thru the family we found this station like many others surfing sites and thru them going to a lot of local gatherings , wife and i are (cad) people great group no matter you plays. now have large collection of cds because of this station signed up and became founding member. Great job to all those involved with this site. |

| I found celticradio.net through a link from the Brobdingnagain Bards...and I found them through a specific search for a song they perform. I had listened to CR for quite some time but never got involved in the message boards. Then, I made my first post...and now have become a member. I am so happy with everything macfive (and family) has made available to us here...I really think this is the best place on the net for 24 hr celtic music. I have referred several people here and am happy to be a listener! |

| I work and attend alot of Renaisssance faires here in the midwest and so I visit alot of Ren faire websites looking for ideas. There is a huge shortage of celtic music in the U.P. of Michigan (none) so I use to listen to renradio which was a link from the Atthefaire website. It was starting to get a little boring so I clicked on the live 365 home page hoping to find something a little more exciting. I hit the "Browse genres " Listen to a couple of the other Celtic stations and finally landed here. Now I may have to build a house or find an apartment cuz I usual have the station on for about four hours a day here. Wish they would let me play it at work too. Keep up the good work-play some Gael Force-they rock |

| I was just cruising 365 or whatever I could find for celtic (more traditional then any thing) and had a dail up connection so it was not very reliable so kinda gave it up for a couple of years then I got broadband and walla I was listening to the best station on the WEB, so much so I went founder then founder with a contribution. Gotta keep the music flowing. Don't get much time to listen but when I can it is always there to lift my spirite and just get me all warm inside. |

| I think one of the issues with the App is it is required that you log-in to the App. For this, you can manually setup an account or you can use Facebook. We used Facebook to register and login to test it recently on an iPhone 8 Plus. One thing it did require, even with the Facebook register, is an email address. It popped up asking to enter an email address. After that it did let us login and use the App. If anyone has issues logging in, just use our contact form and we can either 1) Update your password or 2) Preregister an account for you. The App is supported by our Celtic Radio Founder's and yearly fund raising event, so we have a basic and premium part of the App which provides a good way to support Celtic Radio. |
