Please pray for my choir director at church, his name is Jim. He was running some errands yesterday during lunch in downtown Atlanta and was hit in a head on collision. He sustained a lot of broken facial bones, but not a broken nose. He has a broken sinus cavity, one eye swollen shut, the other eye has problems, he is in a neck brace. He is in ICU. The good news is that he was not paralyzed! Thank God! They don't know at this point if he will need any plastic surgery or if things will heal on their own. In choir we were just starting rehearsal on the Christmas portion of Handel's Messiah, but as it stands now, we don't know what will happen.
Thank you for your prayers.

Thanks y'all for the prayers. I will pass them on . I heard from his wife Lisa today and she said that he is doing fine under the circumstances. He is in a lot of pain and they have given him meds that make him feel "good" she said. They are a little worried about the one eye that has a lot swelling around it though. I went to choir tonight and the organist's daughter directed choir - we only worked on some simple things for the next few Sundays. note.gif biggrin.gif
