A week ago we had our medieval faire at school, it was marvelous, I made a special costume for the occasion and everything, I took 2 swords to school and they actually let me wear/carry them all day long. I don't have any pictures of the actual faire, but I have a few of me and my costume before (if I look out of it, it's because it was 6:30am)

It was cool, because afterwards one of my friends came over to my house and we had a crusade

All in all it was a fun faire, It's not quite as good as a real faire but it was pretty fun, we had a bunch of activities, someone from our brew pub came and told us how to make beer, One of our teachers showed us some of his enourmous sword collection (our Science teacher of all teachers! [least expected to be sure]) and we had a blacksmith come too, and a hippie in a medievalesque tie-dye dress showed us how to dance the May pole dance and gave us flowers biggrin.gif

Anyone ever been too a school Medieval faire or something similar to this?

Ah, the imagination of youth. I still remember the forts and castles of my youth. They kept out the "wolves", "bears" and the "terrible hordes". We spent days building them out of whatever we could scrounge around the neighborhood. We defended them against imaginary threats till our parents decided we had built an eyesore, and they were gone.

This is pretty cool stuff Jime307, I really like your costume.
That must of been fun, never had the chance to go to a medieval fair with the school because I don't think the teacher were that cool then.

Thanks for the pics they're great. LOA

My Grandma and I made it, good thing she lives so close or I would've been costumless, thanks for the compliments.

At our Faire I was a Lord, Lord Hugh actually, and all the lords and ladies got to sit at the long table in the front of the room that was raised off the ground and the King gave a speech. The lords and ladies were supposed to walk up together next to each other for each class, but when I started to go up there, My lady never showed up, she was supposed to meet me there, so I walked past her all alone and she had one of those "How could I forget" faces, kinda silly if you ask me.
