Forum Signature

I've created on the CelticRadio.net webserver a script that can display the current playing song, artist and album on Highlander Radio. My hope is that many of you who visit or frequent other forum message boards could place this in your signature to help promote Highlander Radio.

An example of this special image can be seen below in my signature file. Here is the forum code you may use in your forum signatures.

If the messageboard you are using does not like this image file, then try this code instead:

In the future, we may expand this code so it shows a small thumb-nail image of the current album. The cool thing about this script is that it ties right into our broadcast, so where-ever you post this script, it will automatically update across the net.

Can/should we add it to our signature on CelticRadio.net? If we all do it will it cause any bandwidth or server problems for you?

Sure, where ever you want to post it is fine. You can even post the image in your messages to other sites and it will automatically update to the current song when someone views it.

Might be cool in E-mail sigs too =)

Hmmm, I didn't think of that. I could added it to all outbound emails from the board - but would need a text-based version since not everyone views emails that way.

Perhaps when I get to that xml feeds we were talking about.

That, or a script that, instead of making a picture of it, formats it as text... like what I'm wanting to do w/ the IRC bot
