| The Greater Danbury Irish Festival in Danbury, CT, originally slated to take place on Sept 28-30, 2012, has been cancelled. Time and finances are cited as the reason and efforts are now being put on a return in 2013. http://www.danburyirishfestival.com/ |

| There has been no mention of a festival in 2014 or a return in 2015. I am keeping watch over a number of previously cancelled festivals but find more often than not, when financial reasons are cited for cancelling a festival, the festival doesn't return. It looks like the Danbury festival, after being cancelled in 2012, made a return in October of 2013 but no mention of a 2014 event. We will see if they try again.
