Last night we ended up having an impromptu lesson of Scottish Gaelic in the Chat room, and it turned out to be a good learning experience for one and all, so this poll is to see what time and days would be best for the majority. For me, Tuesday and Wednesday are the best, but I am willing to go with the concensus. Also the times are listed in Central Time, well... mostly because that's where I am. Let me know if none of these work for you. Also we will try to post the Lessons the next day in this forum.

Those times would be great if I worked day shift, but I am scheduled to work at all those times once I go back to nights in a week or so. Off Wed, Thurs, and Sun. nights atm. Changes every 3-6 months (should be every six atm...) 19:00 - 06:00 Central time being when I work

ok, Hate to break it to ya, GLD, but the lessons ain't gonna happen on Friday Saturday or Sunday. I work a hectic job, and I need to recouperate on the weekend or I end up being very grumpy the whole of the next week. Plus, I do have a fiancé and a wedding that need to be given attention too.

Yeah, I have ball every tuesday and thursday. Mondays and wednesdays would work best for me. *shrugs* I don't know what that means for anyone else though.

Well, you'd be able to do one of the lessons a week, and maybe we should just start with one a week, since it would be easier with the summer schedules. Let me think and get some feedback and we'll see what we can figure out.

OK, but The poll is asking about Tuesday and Wednesday... So Far I am seeing that Wednesday is pretty clear for everyone, or am I misreading that?

On Wednesday I might be late to a lesson, but I think it would work for me.

Wed's no good for me, but perhaps if the same lesson was given a couple times a week? Looks like earlier is better for some, later is better for others...

If there are other people who can speak scots gaelic, they could help give the lessons when you, Danann, can't make it. Or people who made the original lesson can help out those who couldn't make it...

Makes no difference to me. I would only be able to catch the lesson every other week. Whatever days I am off this week are the days I work next week. For example this week I work Tues, Wed, Sat, Sun. Next week, those are my off days, and I work Mon, thurs, Fri! And I work 7 AM to 7 PM shifts, so I dont get home til 7:30 and cant get on the computer untill 8 (gotta shower and eat supper first). So you guys decide what you want and I'll just join in when I can.

I really don't need the first basic lessons anyway. I was just gonna try to join in to help support Danann (if she needed it) since she works mostly with Irish.
