Presure from the Scottish Parliament is encouraging BBC to use more traditional Scots wordds in it's broaddcasts to help keep the language alive. A list of 100 words has been drawn up which preenters are being asked to iuse on air. The list includes glaikit (stupid) ddreich (dreary, tiresome, long winded) crabbit (Bad temper) an haar (a cold se mist on the east coast).
