I got my clan motto, macdonald of the isles, PER MARE PER TERRAS tattooed round my leg, does anyone else have a similar thing. celtic associated tattoos??

I would like something like that, if I were to get a tattoo at all. Some short, pithy gaidhlig saying, with maybe a tiny thistle.

The edinburgh tattoo is a big music event in edinburgh during summer.


I'll try get a pic but its difficult to take coz my tattoo goes round my leg and the camera wont take pictures round corners....

I've a rather nice tattoo on my left ankle/calf of a fairy done by Amy Brown, who also is the artist of my avatar. I will try and get a pic in my photo album. I am thinking to add one more of purple iris' as they were my Mom's favorites. smile.gif
