Looking for Carroll, Creary, and Devlin clan...

Ancestors here since 1840's...
Settled in Carbon and Schuylkill counties of Pennsylvania

Could ye be Clan?

"Creary" is related to the Chleirigh Clan. The Clarks!

Clarks are descended from the clergy (monks, priest, etc). At some point, the vow of poverty & chastity got old, so they took their education, and became "men of business" to the Chiefs of various clans.

Pronounced CLARK in Scotland, and CLERK in England... as in "office clerk."

One of the existing mottos is: By scribes, for GOD and Scotland
